I have the Starcaster in the sunbirst finish. I love it! Some guys swap out the pickups, but the originals sound fine to me. I did add a Les Trem vibrato (NOT tremelo!!!) and that is highly recommended...

Just pulled the trigger -- same finish and everything. This is the first budget guitar I've bought without the intent of immediately changing the pickups. Really like those. Only change in the cards is the addition of a 'varitone', which I do to ALL of my guitars.

This is a review of your review: Topic: I really love your show! Let's review: Your ideas are well executed and edited together seamlessly! You have an excellent speaking voice! You have a great backdrop and lighting! I love your cautious optimism! I love how you describe stuff! Very eloquent! Mid-west Emo!!!! I love your honesty! You do indeed shred! Excellent player! And lastly, not to put too fine of a point on it, but if I was in the area I'd wanna be in a band with you! You seem quite creative and genuine! Thanks for making great content ya turkey! Here's a couple extra !!!! just in case you need them for later!

Hahaha, that made me feel good! Lol thanks for all the kind words!!! Yeah it's been awhile since I've been in a band. Actually as I'm typing this, Im recovering from a night at the bar where I was beckoned to the stage to play a solo over some song half drunk. First time I played something live in years! Lmao. If you keep watching, I'll keep pushing out the content.

Squire will take you higher 👆 🔥 butternasty tones. I have one of these. The sunburst. It is by far my fav guitar out of the many guitars I have. It is a absolute monster beast maestro 🎉❤

How would you compare this to say a Gretsch Streamliner?

I can't speak to the comparison because I have not played a streamliner

Just wanted to point out that that "wide range humbuckers" is just a normal humbucker in this wide casing and filled with wax, in the case of this and the Mexican reissues. Real wide range pickups are expensive to reproduce due to the materials and these definitely aren't accurate reproductions at all. DylanTalksTone has a great video on it.
