just bought the offset just because of that middle position! amazing sound! i haven't picked up my japanese fender offset tele since the squier arrived. for less than 500$ the amount of features and guitar you get is insane

My two penn'orth... I went into a store to try one (the gold) and it's a lovely looking guitar. The quality is great. Very nice. People who like a modern "thin fast neck" will probably love it. To me, it felt just a bit too thin. The neck on my 50's style Tele fills the hand nicely although the nut width, on paper, is the same it felt a little cramped. I also found the strings very close to edge of the fretboard especially compared to my Harley Benton J60. This is obviously a personal thing but in the end I didn't buy it, and I did have serious GAS for one. Always worth checking a guitar out in a shop before buying. On different tack the price in the store was 30€ more than their online store with next day delivery so maybe try in-store and buy online.

First thing I did witj the offset was swap the bridge for a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound in white to match that Jazzmaster pickup. Also to get a bit more push out of it. Completely woke it up.

(disclaimer... no offence to Rob!!) the boss mans guitar playing since the purple guy joined has been quite phenonimal... and i have to add that Justin (I think..???) played a part in it... just my 0.5 miliseconds cents worth...
