I bought this guitar a couple of weeks ago, and I will poopoo on something quickly if it's no good. This is a good guitar, and I would recommend it to anyone. I would never recommend something that wasn't good.

could you maybe pinpoint something that you would criticise about it just to make sure there's still a difference between this and more expensive models? i'm a guitar beginner (but a pro piano player) and i'm trying to find something that would be suitable for shoegaze experiments but that would also have a satisfying clean sound without any effects to use for occasional clean guitar parts (where the guitar's default timbre cannot hide behind the walls of effects). i chose this one based on a few online reviews but never held it in my hand. any response would be greatly appreciated! x

Not sure why fender doesn’t have standard process for their guitars. Frets are everywhere the Classic Vibe are consistently well done without sharp fret ends , it looks like a fret finish process so they should take what works and discard the rest.

Exactly! Makes no sense. I will say, I have had fewer fret issues the past 3 years. Still, like you said, a stadard process shouldn't be hard,

Agreed. it would definately add to the value of the instrument. My only gripe with this guitar was that the frets were a tad sharp. I can dress this but should I have to?

@@Hiro.the.God. That's my biggest issue with it. I think that should be a main focus. Especially with how little it takes to make it right. Not asking for a premium fret job. Just make sure they aren't poking the player.

I would swap out the pickups for some Seymore Duncans and locking tuners. Then buff out the frets. Looks like a nice axe to play with.

I have the same guitar and man. This thing shreds no joke if you get a chance buy one. Love mine! Squire's can be great guitars try always being the hardest working company. Maybe I got a good 1!
