I main Squirrel Girl to the point where I have her as lord. She's really effective when it comes to splash damage and can indeed be difficult to take down heroes like Iron Man. I find her to be very effective if you play her somewhat aggressively, but this also will eventually get you killed a lot if you're not careful. Aside from that, she's a very good underrated character.

@ssjjaeds759 if I'm being honest, I just play her alot to the point where I really didn't need to learn how to aim with her. Just find the right sensitivity and hope you can hit your shots. All I can really give from my end.

@@ssjjaeds759 I’m almost done making a video on this, but there are 3 main shots you can do with her: Direct hits, lob shots, or skip bounces. The bounce shots are the easiest to land because you rely on the ground to skip your acorn on the ground to detonate as close to the enemy as possible during a close range team fight. Direct hits do the same damage close range and has a better chance of cleaving multiple people at once, while lob shots are the hardest to aim because you’d only do those shots from far away. So my recommendation is to practice skip bounces and direct hits 🙂 a decent AVG accuracy rate for her in a match would be around 25%+

I've began to see Squirrel Stampede as more of a disruption tool than as a way to knock off opponents. Something to throw out when it's time to push or when it's time to halt a push against my team. But I generally play my Squirrel Girl as a disruptor/annoyance because of how unpredictable her main attack is and because it's harder to aim with a controller.

I play on console as well. My ideal aim settings for me is 125 Horizontal sensitivity and 90 vertical sensitivity. That way, I can sway my aim to lead my shots better and track the person's movement near or afar. But yea I think people on their tier list rates her Ult as sucky because they expect an upfront big damage potential like Iron Man and Scarlet Witch, but her kit just isn't built for that playstyle.

@@Mikero6977 I've got to try those settings. It's weird. I feel like a good Squirrel Girl is someone who can break up the group when they try to push, flush out snipers and Duelists when they try to hide and pick you off, and stop tanks from breaking you up. My best games are when I'm able to break off from the group and flank or guard healers or stop tanks and rush-down characters with a Blockade. I don't know. Squirrel Girl feels like the one character that you can't play straight up in one role. You have to work different angles to make her work.

And thats the fact that ger cc is able to interrupt a lot of powerful ults like thor, strange, wanda, iron man, magneto, adam, panther etc. And im almost positive i interrupted a luna ult but not sure 100% about that needs more testing

Glad you love the guide video! I've used my Squirrel Blockade on Wanda during her Ult, and it still goes off because her CC is Imprisonment, which only halts their movement. Thor, on the other hand, yes you can CC him to bring his ult back to the ground. 🤔 I can make a quick video testing out the other characters if I can CC them during their ults! From experience, I know for sure you can CC Magneto or Luna snow out of their ults, but you can kill Luna to stop her ult altogether. That's a high risk, high reward play.

I started playing this game two days ago and Squirrel Girl looked so cute so I decided to play her. First match I did I got 15k damage and was MVP. I was playing with my bf who has been playing the game a lil longer (also fairly new) and he was so surprised since he never saw someone getting so much damage. Long story short: I love Squirrel Girl! I often have people trapped in my Squirrel Tsunami and I love how versatile you are. With a good healer you can defo push and then retreat whenever your HP is getting low. With the tailbounce and simple jumping, close combat catapulting acorns, you can escape some scary situations. I have had plenty of games so far where I got most damage of the game and only died once or twice while playing super aggressive (again, good healers makes such a huge difference!) I think she's such a fun character and I am defo going to main her. Also this video is so helpful. I didn't know about the jump + tailbounce and neither did I know about the reset timer for your skills ánd the fact you can either hold the acorn bomb to throw it further or insta use it. Thank you for all these new insights!

Congrats! She is so fun right!? When I was finding a DPS main for this game, I thought I was going to be a Namor fan because of his turret capabilities, but Squirrel Girl won me over in no time, so now I mainly play her, and Magneto on my Ranked Matches. You are correct though. Good healers really affects your amount of deaths each game! I'm glad you found this guide helpful! SG main here! Loved your vid! One thing people don't know and you did not explain to extent. Her nuts do bang off walls and still do damage. She's one if only players who can do damage and kills blind. So I someone is hiding or coming through an opening, you can Prefire it or bounce it around the corner and get me. I through alot of web nuts around corners and get kills never seeing someone lol. With open maps. Another thing is shoot at the back line players in open spaces, not at the front line players or war zone.. I tried to use her to shoot through all zones because she doesn't lose much damage point from long range. Most times I'm with the back line or am the backline because she's a great backline protector or bait for assasins.

I actually didn't explain that part very much because I was going to make a short video explaining her trick shots and how to master them haha but I do know what you're talking about how you can poke someone around a corner without being in their L.O.S. It's prolly just my experience, but I always had a hard time shooting at the backline players on open maps because my tanks wouldn't give me enough time to get into a safe position to shoot off angle. So I tend to hang with my supports or mid line to protect them from divers. CC Queen for days 💯

That's on my PS5, and that's her default reticle. Is your reticle settings set to default on her? If on Xbox, it should be the same directory as my PS5 which i posted my aim a settings over the weekend.

she's actually a decent Ironman check on some maps i feel. I don't often get kills on him since im still new but there are several occurrences where iv'e bopped him with 2 acorns and he runs away (because i missed the third) and is quite easy to tail bounce in their faces on some enclosed maps for a free hit should he separate from his team. Maybe it's just me playing Quick Play and not comp, but i feel with how slow Ironman is, taking him out wont be that hard after some practice

Iron man in Comp is fairly different from Quickplay Iron man from my experience. If you're close enough to him in an enclosed map, then yea you can definitely duel against him using the tail bounce! but on the open area maps, he has so much space to fly away once he gets a whiff that someone is targeting him lol Plus his Hulk team up ability makes him dangerous to get close because of his enhanced Uni-Beam. But practice dueling against him in the practice range or in Quickplays will definitely help creating strategies on how to take him out

At higher elo you'll find the tradeoff of her slow projectiles not being able to line shots well isnt worth the stray hits you get occassionally. People will be smarter than to stand around at those corners and ricocheted acorns do less dmg. Hence why pro players dont rly play her often and this vid even discussed that point. It makes her 'unpredictable' even for you piloting her but she still has a lot of value in being able to farm ult that way

It ends up being the opposite with magneto shield eating her attacks while also applying cc immunity to teammates and groot locking out line of sight for her is really bad too since she has slow fire rate so it’s sometimes really bad for her since it takes her a long time to destroy the walls but I do feel she’s relatively good into strange and you can bounce shots around him to blow up his backline since she does big damage to squishies
