I would love to have that maverick my brother had given me back in the early 90s. It was the 2-tone red on black 3 on the tree, but the transmission clutch was out . At that age in my life, I didn't have enough know-how and got rid of it. Today, I would have known I could fix it all.

The small clear plastic box you found in the maverick that didn't have a top actually went into a aquarium to separate pregnant fish so they could have there babies without them getting eat. Mostly used for guppies. Just thought I'd share.

Had a friend get out of the Army in late 1971, and just before he got out of the service he ordered two Gold Maverick with the 302 engine in them. They were fast! Use to race him with my 67 SS Camaro, he would beat me most of the time.

I grew up in Northwest Missouri. Mavericks were built in a suburb of Kansas City(Claycomo). Our school class toured the plant. A Maverick (probably an early prototype) was displayed in the lobby. Some of us crawled underneath it and found copious amounts of rust.

I had a Lime Green 73 Grabber that was my daily driver in my 20's. 302 auto, bucket seat car with a floor shift and the fake hood scoops which I think was more on the rare side. Loved that car but it needed way more love than I could give it. Sold it to a guy in West Virginia who restored it. Ended up owning 6 Mavs total over the years. First car was a 75 6 cyl 3 speed manual.

I had a 1970 Maverick 6cyl 3spd on the floor , same color , put a Grabber deck ild and quarter extensions, full interior out of a 1976 Maverick , bucket seats, with the fancy carpet like a lincoln , painted the Grabber stripes on it and finally got a Grabber hood , traded it for 1966 Chevy 2 SS that was decent , wished I had either one back today

I remember back in 1976 i took my mom's brand new maverick grabber to town to the sos to get my drivers test. It had a 302 with a three speed floor shift it was yellow and black strips said grabber in black on front fenders. Them were the days.

A great car to teach about automotive re-finishing! Maverick ads once showed replacing a front fender to demonstrate maintainability. No need for a $10,000 paint job that will just get scratched up in the high school parking lot.

The roll of sticky stuff is freeze guard. We use it up north along the gutter edge of your roof. And in the valleys. Before your shingles go on. It seals the roof against freeze and thaw!

With yourself having the Ford Falcon about where you want it, say for the issue at Ford Fest, might I suggest that you and WaWa get the Maverick Grabber up and running for her for Ford Fest next year, and you all can have a Daddy Daughter competition in the class you were this year. Just to see how it would go, I think it would fun to see and great content leading up to the actual event. I know for sure you wouldn't put her in a car that isn't safe. This week wasn’t too good but it could’ve been worse. Our pole barn burnt down with my dads 1969 amx in it and the tools and lawnmowers and my Mercury’s engine and interior. I saved the tractor but got burned. Not too bad but it really isn’t fun. I’m gonna work and rebuild the amx after the insurance people come out and figure things out. It’s a shame especially right before my dads birthday
