In this video you will see my adorable little red squirrel up close with some new camera angles. There's no fighting in this one. But this little red squirrel is so cute I hope it brings a smile to your day!

Your vids are the best. Such great action and close-ups. Love it. But now I get gazillions of others "recommended" by youtube. I click either not interested or don't recommend. I wish we could control their algorithm to our real preferences. Ha

Wow, thank you! I really appreciate your kind words. 🙏

Ironically, I discovered this channel through my recommends.

@@thesuburbanmorrigan So did I. My problem is, if you click on something the lame brained algorithm thinks it's a good idea to start recommending a never ending list of every other video that might have something in common. That's really bad considering probably 95% of videos on youtube are s****d and made by apparently s****d people. You can "Don't Recommend" a thousand of them, but the algorithm is too lame to take a hint.

Really great footage! Do you just use cell phone cameras for all this? How many do you have set up? I use trail cams almost exclusively -- would love to know more about how you capture the material for these videos.

I started out with a Sony handicam. I still use it for zooming from a distance but usually only in summer. It’s too cold for that thing most of the winter. Now I just use iPhones for convenience. My old 6 gets set up somewhere and I wait until I see them coming then press record. Then I use my new iPhone by hand for a second angle. It all goes to the cloud so no storage issues. Then I just go through all footage, download what I need and edit it all in iMovie. I’m a boomer too so I try to keep it simple. 😂

@@mixer6166 You're getting very good results with a simple setup. Do you have cloud storage through Apple? I have OneDrive, but it's full to overflowing of videos from as far back as June I haven't had time to comb through. I did get an extra terabyte, but now that's full, too. Sigh. Well anyway, keep up the great work!

@@thesuburbanmorrigan Yes storage through apple. I have 200G. But I go through vids the day after each shoot and delete the waste and label/rate the clips so I remember what they are. I’ve never been near full. I feel for you though. That’s a lot of video to review you have there! When I got my new laptop I left all the old vids on that one. I’ll get to it someday, maybe. 😂
