The videos are getting better and better, packed with fun, intrigue and adventure. It was a lot of fun to watch those bunnies jumping up and down. And the new little red squirrel is so adorable. She seems young too. I hope she’ll be a regular in your backyard. In the meantime, my Rustina (Boomer’s cousin) is out there scaring and chasing my grey squirrels in my backyard.

Very well done! Is that hardware cloth or chicken wire you're using to protect your plants? I need some, whatever it is.

That's chicken wire. I got it at Home Depot in a roll. But it's the stiffer type with smaller openings so more expensive. And you need a a good pair of side cutters. That was originally an attempt to keep starlings off the bird feeders but failed. But it's fantastic to keep the rabbits off the tulips. So it wasn't a total waste. lol

@@mixer6166 Thank you! Does it keep the squirrels away from the plants, too? Squirrels are digging up my garden beds something awful. They've dug up most of my seed onions, though they don't even eat those. As to the starlings, I sympathize. They are a big problem at my feeders, too.

I think feeding them has helped. The red squirrels especially get into the planters. But I think it's just because they bury nuts in there then dig them up later. I laugh to think that I once believed I could outsmart any of them. Bahahahahaha!

They say 44 days gestation so if he got lucky on March 21, we’re looking at early May birth and might see them some weeks after that. But no way to really know for sure if Bucky is the dad.

@@mixer6166 May is pretty late for a squirrel birth isn't it. They tend to be Feb-March or late Summer. I hope Bucky and Peaches did get together, She is so cute and he was besotted by her.
