Oof. Sorry if there is any spoilers in this comment but, Leafpool gave birth to lionblaze, hollyleaf, and jayfeather. Crowfeather was their father, and leafpool used parsley to stop producing milk, and lied to everyone to make them think that the kits were squrrielflight's and brambleclaws kits. Sorry ^^

Silverlynx 022 i think they meant that squirrelflight and brambleclaw raised hollyleaf as their own child and even though leafpool is her real mother, those two were holly’s parents, and loved her as much as they possibly could. just because the secret was revealed doesn’t mean that they didn’t feel as much pain as any set of parents would.

Agreed! It's great to see someone showing their grief for her. Even though she was an adopted child to them, she was still their child. She and Brambleclaw raised her alongside Lionblaze and Jayfeather. She would be feeling a mother's grief, (plus, adding that connection thing between Leaf and Squirrel.. It would've pushed it harder for both of them)

according to the warriors wiki firestar has 'SHORT SLEEK THICK FUR". See well I learnt this because when I saw how sleek sandstorm was I wanted to see how she got the FLUFF. So, I'm not sure how short and thick go together but okay?
