I agree. I'm a qualified Counsellor & like you, see, hear & feel his still evident trauma. I'd say that his life wears him, not he wears his life. Do you understand? My family migrated to Australia in 1970, so my experience of his amazing talent has only been through this format. But, I had the same experiences re entertainment & life (minus the domestic abuse) including being a Skinhead ❤️ I've caught up with Michaels' life & can tell you that, from my training & observation skills that I don't believe he was in anyway COMPLICIT, with that young man's drowning. That in fact, he was set-up...

I saw him in Bournemouth he used to pay all the lads at the local university in Poole £20 each to come and look at his chuff with a magnifying glass. You had to line up, look and then say something about it. Most lads said “that’s nice” or “isn’t it hairy” couple of cheeky fuckers would say “cor don’t it look swollen” once I said “why is the anus covered in ants” Barrymore took my money back, took down my name and address and went to my house and slapped my mother up the tits. He was well out of order.

I saw that on video last night. He was not thinking clearly while under the influence of what ever it was, and he ran. I think because he was more worried about possessing the illegal drugs. That's all he could think about. The illegal drugs. And no one would care about that. But in his drugged or drunken state of mind he panicked. He didn't realize that it would not have mattered. People are taking that stuff everywhere. He panicked over something that was not THAT important. He's not the type to harm anyone. He should have stood his ground. But he was not thinking clearly. I don't believe he harmed anyone. That young guy must have staggered into the pool and drowned. It's all very sad. Michael Barrymoore should put that entire event behind him. It's time to retire anyway. Do something completely different. Teach others.

I'm a big Barrymore fan but it's really sad the time has come and gone. Back in the day there was Edmonds, Forsyth, Des O Connor, it was all family based entertainment - it's not like that now. Michael wouldn't last 2 minutes before being cancelled, most of the fun and laughter from his shows would be banned today. That clip of him having a laugh with the older lady on Strike it Rich - can you imagine that today? The woke lobby would be storming the studio and demanding the closure of the station.

He should be back on the screens. People deserve a 2nd chance don't they? They're quick to judge others but none of them were at the party when they found the body in the pool. So basically they can't judge because they weren't there. And don't know what really happened that day Not only that all the best comics have gone now so as true entertainment. It's all this realty rubbish these days. Haven't had a TV licence in years and don't miss it.

I think it's obvious what went down and he was placed in the pool almost hours after he died. everyone in the house should at that time should be locked up imo as they all knew about it and all took the silence.
