I’ve been a Roadie for like 30 years and I can tell ya, it’s been done before. You just have to be at the right place at the right time and you could sneak in as part of the crew. However one sign that you don’t know what you’re doing or stand still not doing anything and they’ll show ya the door. Like, most shows have their core group that travels with them but they usually will hire on riggers, electricians and other positions in the city their in.

I remember experiencing the full magic of sqwinchers when I was getting ready to climb down from a wind turbine. I had just spent the last 6 hours inside one of the blades wearing a respirator and a tyvek suit. I was soaked through with sweat and feeling pretty woozy. I mixed some of the powder in a water bottle, drank it, and within 5 freakin minutes I felt like I could climb UP another tower if I needed to. That stuff is pure witchcraft

Love those squincher popsicles. At my previous job I was Industrial fire rescue for a melt shop and I would drive around on one of our fire department side by sides with a cooler in the back full of them. The production guys would refer to those as pops and cold water with a scruncher pack as a cold beer. There was one point where management got concerned because they overheard that we were giving out cold beers on the production floor lol. I still work for the same company but now at a chemical plant.
