I was born with a physical disability which affects the right side of my body. Dad rejected God the day I was born because he couldn't reconcile how a good God could ruin the life of a new born. I have been bullied at every stage of my life. On May 7th of this year, dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He actually reconciled with God, releasing his soul to God and releasing me from 60 years of guilt knowing dad's soul was in jeopardy. We lost dad three weeks later. So in the midst of sorrow, I was released from guilt. We must all look for the will of God and happiness in the midst of sorrow. Thank you Sister Mariam. Your talk and prayer is a reflection of my life.

My husband was an alcoholic and I suffered with serious depression & anxiety. We divorced after 20 painful years. I worked hard and with the help of Our Lord Jesus and the intersession of Our Blessed Mother, I was healed. Dick died by suicide 😢. We have 2 Daughters who are very wounded and far from Jesus. Neither one talk to me. My heart breaks for their pain & constantly pray for their healing & return to Jesus Christ. 🙏💕

Being a recovering drunk took the desire to drink. That was a miracle. When my sister died, I prayed .I hated God I know he was there. It took some time butt I know he was there. Being adopted I wanted to know who where my parents. When I found out the weight was lifted. God lets me tire myself out. My sister died a few years ago. Me and my sister where close. My faith got me through it. Thank you Sister for this talk

Thank you for your testimony. God has recently stripped me of everything. My 3 grandchildren were taken away from me by CPS. The 2 older ones had been with me since birth until they were 7 and 8. My daughter met a man and moved to Killeen tx. I live in San Antonio Texas. He beat my grandson and they were taken away. I prayed and prayed. I asked everyone I knew to pray. And they were still taken away. Please help me to understand why this happened.

I'm sorry. We live in a fallen world. People have free will and that can make life complicated. Prayer and staying close to the church help me find refuge in God. Sometimes things don't make sense, but I keep praying bc prayer helps me, prayer changes me. Sometimes my circumstances change then too. Sometimes not. Perhaps you might also find Christian counseling helpful. You've suffered a tremendous loss and grief support through church or counseling could help. God bless 💖🙏

Sit... count your breath... 1 in, 2 out, 3 in, 4 out...until you reach 10. Then start again. Loose count? Get distracted? Just start again at 1. Do this until you become proficient. Then count only either the inhales or exhales, doubling the time you must pay attention, until 10... Do this until you become proficient. Now simply watch the breathing... in...out... nothing more... awareness... From here, let God take control. That's it... the path to contemplation and genuine friendship with God. I wish you well.
