Anyone else flinch when he flew over that wind turbine?!!! 😅 Giving u a hard time absolutely love your videos keep up the good work man! 👍

Thank you STARTING with the POH. (For non-pilots out there, different aircraft have different high-performance configurations and these configurations are NOT portable across aircraft. However, the “start AS FAR BACK AS POSSIBLE” and “100% power while holding brakes” is universally valid. 👍)

Full throttle and mix when priming! Otherwise love watching you fly this beast. I have one for real great to see a pro flying it!

Thank you, that was a great video and I enjoyed it very much.

Also worth pulling the yoke back on touchdown, and holding, for aerodynamic breaking. I’ve never tested to see how much of a difference that makes over letting the yoke loose.
@A330Driver Жыл бұрын
It makes a bit of a difference but not too much. The problem in MSFS is that you sometimes simply go flying again.

Should a pilot be using the fastest climb rate? When should that be considered?

Irl would be safe to get as close as u did to the wind turbine? Next to my village there's a small airfield rounded by wind turbines and planes have to do a kind of kaitak approach in order to land there.

it bothered me too

Even when you have 500’+ clearance, large objects like tall antennas, big bldgs, and wind turbine appear to be VERY close. It is initially somewhat disconcerting.

in real life the traffic pattern for Runway 15 is left hand so you do not overfly it.

Have you found short field and soft field landing physics to be realistic in MSFS ?
@A330Driver Жыл бұрын
Landing physics in MSFS in general are not realistic. You always float to eternity.

@@A330Driver They float because all Simulator Pilots are to fast when they land. 🙂 Try 60 Knots with the Cirrus.

@@fl95flyerI dont fly the cirrus much amd dont have the PoH to reference, but wasn't the landing speed a little fast? Also does the wind need to be calculated to determine the ideal landing speed?
