I would love to see Blue Mountain again, I hope they bring this level back, it would be awesome, I even invented a lore to the level in Act 1 of Red Volcano you pass through both inside and outside of the level, in Act 2 would be nice to be entirely inside the volcano, you can't see the sky, just that hot and closed cave but after you finish act 2, the next level would be Blue Mountain, the player was inside the volcano for so many time that he left that tropical area in Act 1 and ended in the top of the volcano, in Snow Mountain, and then, at the snow mountain, you would have the chance to go to Egg Rock, maybe going to Grand Eggship Zone, that it's going to Egg Rock

His laugh serves to taunt the group as the ground under the vessel gives way, down into the searing caldera of Red Volcano. (Metal Sonic then somehow saves the group from death by lava, both as an act of defiance against the Doctor and because he just wants his race against Sonic. Cue Red Volcano Zone, Act 2.)

I can imagine how cool Red Volcano Zone’s boss would be because it could be Dr. Eggman’s Egg Mobile that’s sealed by window in a gray machine and the the boss of RVZ maybe similar in appearance to the Hot Mobile from Sonic 3 and Knuckles while having no spike points on the vehicle and I’m guessing that RVZ3 would either be set atop of a volcano or in the crater where the core of the eruption happens.

Well, it's prov gonna be in 2.3 or 2.4, because the 1st number only changes if it's a very, VERY big update. Like 2.0, that added half of the levels in the game ,and changed the modding stuff a lot

BlackJoystick Probably less than 5 years. Perhaps 3 years for Red Volcano Zone Acts 2 and 3 to get done. Meanwhile, after the second and third acts of RVZ is done, it will be 5 years for DCZ, GEZ, and the remake of ERZ to get done.

When this gets added, the rocket will be moved to act 2 or it will be an unlockable zone for completing the game? And for the clear save files, will they be reset to RV2 with all your emeralds?

I think they plan on turning the rocket into its own Zone, since Dark City and Grand Eggship are still missing from the game.
