Seeker Question: Amma, what is Grace? How to obtain Grace?
Sri Amma:
In the life of a human being, having Grace is very, very essential.
What is Grace?
Where is it that Grace does not exist?
From your mother's womb, till you were born safely, is my Grace with you.
Several times, not visible to your naked eye, what is protecting you is always this abundance of Grace.
Every incident is Grace. Only you have labeled it as good and bad, and perceive that you may or may not have received Grace.
Remember, Grace is like a breathe of fresh air.
To pray for that Grace is your duty.
When you carry out your prayers with your human efforts, you will receive Grace much faster.
If you plan your life properly, take good decision in life, and wish Grace from intent arising from your heart, you will surely receive it.
You will receive Grace, only when you wish well for yourself and for others. If you wish for harm for yourself or others, Grace will not work. That is why you need not suffer for not getting what you wish.
The manner in which Man requires wealth.
Similarly, is Grace very much a necessity.
To earn that Grace, what all you require to do is, you must do all those Sadhanas (practices).
You receive Grace in various forms.
It may manifest as incidences protecting you from harm.
In other circumstances, it would manifest as solutions to problems.
Yet again in another time, it may come as fulfillments of your desire.
And again, it may manifest as courage to face life.
Yet another time, may come as a learning in life.
Yet again, may manifest as a form of spiritual growth.
Grace need not necessarily be in the same form.
The one who recognizes all these forms of Grace is a person who has evolved spiritually.
There are so many ways to receive Grace,
through chanting of mantras,
through Sadhanas (practices),
through different traditional and cultural practices,
through Seva,
through Bajans (Singing Praises of the Divine)……
All routes are possible to receive Grace.
Whatever one way you choose, or all ways also you may choose, I will definitely bless you with Grace.
Whatever you do, do it with sincerity.
I will definitely take you to higher levels of spiritual growth.
