Sri Lanka, 20 years after 2004 Boxing Day tsunami

I was 13 and just went home from a wedding ceremony when the news struck. The TV set was on most of the time in the following weeks, showing the news and the scale of the devastation. 228000 perished, thousands still missing even to this day. The trauma to the survivors will last a lifetime.

I am survivor of Tsunami.. Im from Colombo and i went trip to Eastern province where Tsunami hit very badly on 2004-12-26. I so the real Tsunami wave and how it kills people from my Eyes. Unfortunately there is no video footage of Eastern province Tsunami. It's really huge i thing more than 20 meters. I saw the wave jumping above large coconut trees 🌴... 😢

🙄 see 2 books, "confessions of an economic hitman" Get author name, you can likely find him in interviews.
