Hello, appreciate your presentation and insightful information. But, I need a small clarification here. As per the current structure of this tea industry, tea estate and tea manufactures (processing factories) are treated as two different profit centers. There are formulas that dictates how the estates should be paid for fresh leaves that they provide to factory. So, the argument you are trying to bring in can only be related to large plantations as they posses estates as well as factories. Then what about small holders who does not have factories, but supply to factories individual basis? In other words, we should first analyse the contribution that small holders and large manufacturers provide to total production and then apply your argument only to large manufactures. Hope I made myself clear 🙂
