Sri Lankans were doing a peaceful protest so far. But the prime minister and the president used violence against them on 9th May afternoon. They started to beatup all the peaceful protesters at the Galleface. Most of the university students had to be hospitalized due to the severe beatings by Prime Minister's supporters. President didn't do anything as it was his brother who made his supporters beat the peaceful protesters. Then all the Sri Lankans got together against the government as Sri Lankan police and army did not take any step to stop the beating. Locals came forward and took the action to beat and chaise prime minister's followers who came to Colombo. People were so annoyed by the prime minister , so that they started destroying all the property of him and his supporters. Most of his supporters were brought to colombo by paying them cash. So when the Sri Lankans stood against them, no one from Rajapaksas came to rescue them. Then the prime minister had to resign in order to protect himself. Now he is planning to flee from the country without giving our money back. We need a proper audit. We need our country's money back. I don't say violence is the solution. But locals did not have any other choise, Since the police support the rulers not the locals. They were peaceful in the begining. But the government made them angry by starting the beating on 9th afternoon. So by 9th May evening locals stood against the thieves and the dealers who are selling our country to other countries. By night, it was a whole country against one family, Rajapaksas.

They hit our protestors brutally and destroyed everything we built in our peaceful protest area. And one or two peaceful protestors were stabbed. Specially the senior police officer of the area let this happened to us by siding with the goons. There are photos going viral he is talking and siding with a minister came with goons. And he has a sh*tty history as well. This is a peaceful protest and seeing it was destroyed by goons it felt really terrible. Common people , doctors, nurses, teachers, religious leaders, office people around the area stopped there work at stations and came running to the protest area to help our people. People got angry for what happened today so lit few buses goons came and houses of the most know corrupted politicians. You cannot blame them because we were tortured by this corrupted politicians for more than 70 years. We haven't seen the real freedom that other countries enjoy. This is how they release their pressure. Trust me. Our country citizens became calm within 24 hours because the protestors in Galleface protest area and religious leaders spreading their words to "stay calm", "enough is enough", "we just finished 30 years civil war, we don't need another one" , " violence has no place in our protest" , "we are going to do this with love"... soon after everybody was calm until now. Now again goons of government party (not protestors) tried lit shops of muslims to start a racism. It was not successful because protestors and common people stayed calm because we knew government and rajapaksa regime trying to trap us for being violent by using their goons. In my FB and every social media platform the word to stay calm, be peaceful , no violence is spreading. And most importantly, there a news going viral that government and rajapaksas want to make our people violent so they can use the military power against common people. Now island wide curfew was imposed in Sri Lanka and can shot down people who are being violent. we donna exactly they will exactly shot down the people who are violent or else ,,, this is why government and rajapaksas want to build a picture that we common people are violent so they can use power against us.

I am sad at the Sri Lankan citizen's plight. These same things have happened to many small countries in the past. This is a formula used by Central banks and financial institutions to gain control of the countries assets. They give, on loan, large sums of money to the small time governments, that in turn, misuse and squander the funds. Then, the loans are called on. Of course, the corrupted small time government can't pay so, the assets are seized and the country is bankrupted. There is a pattern. The citizen's always pay for the greed of the governments.

There are numerous sources of income aside from businesses that is known to them eversince as handicraft, agriculture and numerous automotive/mechanical work.

Some maybe confused about what I say. But all these guys are *Mobs* (not supporters). And they are all prison inmates (mostly men, because there were some women who were in their group which make me unsure of their origin). Sometime you can notice the darkest blue track bottoms/sport trouser which are made for Sri Lankan prisons. Before also violence was used. Back in may 31st, a bus, a police jeep and some more vehicles were torched by their henchmen and thugs during that protest in front of president’s residence. This was done in advance of the 3rd April which was scheduled by citizen (who comes all over the country) to protest together against the corrupted brothers. They done this to make an excuse for a curfew due to the occurred “*violence*”. So remember, the Sri Lankan citizens will always keep it as a peaceful protest. And we are not paid individuals, prison inmates or even rowdies who would create chaos or even havoc to hurt us or to “*redefine*” the protest.
