This is "Pol Melluma" or "fried Pol Sambol". Do not add Lime juice or lemon juice as it prevented preserving the food for a longer time. I also have a sugeestion that if you make "Lunu Miris" and wanted to keep it for a long time do not add lime juice, instead of use coconut oil or now a days vegetable oil. Lunumiris will last for about a week. My mother was from very deep south and she prepared lunumiris in that way and kept it in the coconut shell and not in a dish. She kept it for many days. I do not know the purpose of using coconut shell. If anybody knows the secreat please let me know. Thanks.
