No, telugu was not originated from sanskrit. Telugu has sanskrit words because we have borrowed them. Example, for milk we say paalu, in sanskrit it's ksheeram, and there are so many examples, telugu and sanskrit don't have any connections, the sanskrit words we listen and speak are borrowed.

You are a very good observer. Yes , as you noticed correctly - the background beyond the Hero is in Blue Color, indicating it is dark / dim-lighted. And, the context is : there was a challenge posed by the King to the Hero - to lit all the lights by his Bhakthi Song. Idk why people are fighting in the comments even I'm south indian my mother tongue is kannada and all the Indian languages are derived from Sanskrit itself!! Sanskrit is god's language and it is the first and oldest language on earth!! Sanskrit is a bit hard to learn so when the years passed people started introducing some sort of languages (idk how to explain it) so that it can be convenient to speak for them!! That's why even if our languages are different in our literature our alphabets are same that a aa e ee(ಅ ಆ ಇ ಈ) and so on!!all our indian languages have the same alphabets but they are written differently that's it!!! Simple example, for milk we say paalu, in sanskrit it's ksheera or ksheeram, fit water we say neeru, in sanskrit its jal, for fire we say manta, but in sanskrit it's agni, how can you say telugu was derived from sanskrit? We use sanskrit words because we respect it as it's an oldest language still in use.
