Developing hubs in places like Tenkasi , Madurai or any Tier 2 cities will solve many problems like - increased cost of living in cities - over population and it’s impact on existing cities - Opportunities of creating talent at optimal cost - Talent retention will be easy - Good employment and revenue generation for people in small towns which helps overall countries growth Today migration is happening from villages to 5-6 cities in the country . Govts also should adopt this model and give incentives for industries to set up in Tier 2 cities

Throwing out people out of the jobs during this tough time is cruel things to do and Zoho is going with profit cut..salute to this man and this man has Great vision and most importantly grooming a local talent and creating more job opportunities in this rural area 🙏 🫡

I am from Kappalur, Madurai. 20 years before Atal Ji made roads and since 2016 or so, we started to see good quality shops and restaurants to have food thats is just 500 m radius around Kappalur village. Previously, we din have anything of that sort. Now, Zoho is building industries, though we have ParleG, Stumper, Car Show Rooms along the highway since many years. So, the conclusion is, we need infrastructure investment now, so the next generation will have better amenities around their village and so on. Infrastructure is a must, please get rid of this freebies.

Sridhar vembu is very practical. Indeed இந்தியா is a country with lot of rural area. The economic theory states that a country's economy will be strong only when the rural area becomes wealthy. This theory is applied by Sridhar very practically. He is not an ordinary business person. He is growing well at the same time he is building the economy of mother இந்தியா. Very soon He will be the world business leader. I am very proud of him. God bless him

Well thought .. this LayOff is a west culture not aligned with values of India .. I always thought that it’s far better to open to employees about hardship and recuse everyone’s salary by 10% than layoff someone ….

@@VinaySharma-xq6nw Nope. There are always disgruntled employees who with the paycut will sabotage their work, dawdle at what they are doing, resent management, etc. There will be arguments about bosses getting their pay cut more than lower grade employees, etc. Not a good idea.
