I'm glad they have woken up, I always thought SL has this historical places linked to lord Rama and they were really not taking advantage of it, good to see its been considered. I'm assuming these places will get a face lift, which it needs badly.

I think it’s a reciprocal move as so many Sri Lankans visit BodhGaya for pilgrimage Ramayana trail or not…Sri Lanka is worth a visit….and we as Sri Lankans welcome our Indian brethren here as we always have been..🙏🙏🙏

Ravana was an outstanding Vedic scholar & Shiva bhakta. He acquired knowledge beyond the physical realm through his knowledge & mystical practices. As to why such knowledge disappeared both in Sri Lanka & India is not really known.

I don't think there is any solid evidence that relates Sri lanka with the Ramayana Lanka. And Sri Lanka is definitely doing this to increase tourism, no way they have any kind of interest other than financial.

@@SmithA2649 Nope, few People can heard about full story but Sri Lankan do not know about RAMAYANA. If Lankan meet Indian tourist then Lankan guys go with Ramayanaya like they do know about it. Ask questions you will see.🙃 Ramayanaya is not our Story even Ramayanaya have different ending Stroies in the Asia if I am not wrong. we have our own History with solid proof. that's it.

With respect to your belief, may we state the following India has no documented ANCIENT history. Hence, British wrote a history for India after invasion, which not only distorted the Indian history but messed it up beyond repair. That Indian history was also written by coping events from SL history. That's why leading Indian historians don't accept it. Ramayana is also a fairy tale written before that which also has no historical evidence in Sri Lanka. So history described in this video is not acceptable at all as SL also has nothing to do with Rama or any of the spiritualism mentioned here. After all Indians should know the truth.
