SriLankan Airlines Colombo to Melbourne - Business Class Epic Flight Review

First things first, enduring a 19-hour transit at Colombo airport was a breeze for me! With access to SriLankan Airlines' business lounge, the Lotus First Lounge (thanks to my Priority Pass), and a comfortable stay at the Senerediva Transit Hotel, the layover became a part of the adventure.
But the real treat began on the flight itself! 🍽️✨ The food served by SriLankan Airlines was nothing short of DELICIOUS! While the service on this airline is often praised, I must sing the praises of their mouthwatering food offerings. The local Sri Lankan dishes in business class are an absolute must-try - I was blown away! WOW WOW WOW is an understatement.

Food and travel are my two greatest passions. I have NO idea the audio levels were so bad in my first video. Truthfully, I wasn't happy with the quality of footage from this particular video either. However, I had to post it nonetheless as it closes my European holiday nicely.

Great trip report! Sri Lankan has certainly improved, I flew them like 10 years ago on a work trip, wasn't great! You would get on with my Filipino husband, he loves rice as much as you do!!

The service and local dishes were the highlight of the airline. I'd fly them purely on those two reasons alone. I am always up for a meal, especially with rice...as you well know LOL

Hey Tim, Happy new year So. I've found out from my hairdresser who is Sri Lakan that yummy dessert you like is Sri Laken bread pudding with candied fruit on top. Erika from sunny Perth 😎

Hey Tim, did you find out what the sweet pudding thingy is? I can try and ask my hairdresser if you haven't found out as she is from Sri Lanka. Someone mentioned that it looked like bread pudding. I'm going to look up if it's similar to bread and butter pudding or whether it's uniquely a Sri Lankan dish. Knocking on the hotel door is a tradition my family all do and have always done. LOL Yes, I'd rather no spirits in my room. Actually, the one time I DIDN'T knock first, very strange things happened! I'll explain in another video one day. haha
