Excellent first swings of the day, with a club that deserved them, The tech on the 585 cannot be denied, and the look is fabulous for a lineup that has the well deserved reputation as players irons. The 585 is an iron to be feared when seen in the bag of the other fella beside you on the tee. So why not give in to the temptation and eschew the urge to play the least forgiving iron possible, less smoke under the kilt, and pelt the flag with a straight shooting, high flying, yardage consuming ZED club. GO WITH THE 585 and whinge no more!!!

WOW big Al have you ever hit more consistent irons than these z585. I just purchased a set on your review was going to get thr new z5 but I've saved a ton of money by going with the older model. Just love how simple and classy they look.

I fell a bit behind on your videos Alex, but the good news is, that means I've got a lot in que to watch. Loved your "disgusted tour pro, hands on the hip" look as your shot landed on the green about 30 feet or something from the hole. HA Great bit of shot shaping at the end, only t be outdone by the music!! Love it!

What about Z785 and the Z585 in just the 4-iron? Does it blend well?

Srixon makes the best irons. I am playing the Nickent ARC Blades because I have the full set from 3-PW and GW, SW, LW. Once they are no longer playable switching back to Srixon. I have the Srixon 701 Pro irons that I go to when I am not hitting well and they are fantastic. Mizunos feel like HOT butter these feel like COLD butter! Their forging feels a little less soft than Mizuno but that is sorta what I want.
