I've owned my 05 vstar 1100 for ten years and it has about 92k miles on it. Starts up fast and easy and still runs strong. I've added a Maxair predator pro intake,Cobra straight pipes and rejetted both carbs. I'll get a lot more miles out of this one!!

Is that whining noise normal?? Just curious because I'm thinking of buying one and I noticed in his video his vstar 1100 also whined when revving the engine

Never park a bike with the front wheel to the right. If it turns to the left as it sits parked. It will pull the bike forward and off the kick stand. Then the bike falls over.

What type of gas should I pump on my 06 vstar 1100?? 87,89 or 91 octane. Thx.
@BrianWM5 жыл бұрын
runs just fine on 87.
@jimgustafson72564 жыл бұрын
87! Anything else is wasting money! The compression ratio on a stock 1100 is low enough for low octane gas.

+Srkcycles Hey Sean & Caleb...do you still have this bike? ('06 red Vstar 1100) I'm from Texas and I am looking for a V star 1100 to possibly buy & ride back home. Love the videos!! Keep up the great work! God bless!!

@samuelrichardson99887 жыл бұрын
No, as long as you know how to ride there is not such thing as too much. I bought a my v star 1100 when I was sixteen. I'm about 5'10" and only 150 pounds and I love it. I also ride my dads 2015 Harley Davidson ultraglide which is huge and honestly I like it more than mine.
@PragmaticTornado7 жыл бұрын
No this bike is super easy to ride, and it feels like a feather compared to your typical 700+ lb Harley. Traded one of my bikes for a V-Star 1100 yesterday. I don't like the foot pegs on it for some reason (might be the placement), but as far as the ride goes other than that, it is smooth as butter. I actually followed the speed limits to the point where I had a truck on my tail almost the whole way home. That's the good thing about cruisers - it's fun just cruising as opposed to having to go 20 mph over the speed limit everywhere, on sports bikes and such.

Has a very low center of gravity for a bigger bike... Practice where it's safe and hopefully soft, such as abandoned parking lots or open grass fields,, if you truly have never ridden a bike... Less Damage to you both if y'all fall. :D Enjoy! Happy Riding...
