The new CVO's are $40K. I went to the Harley dealer a couple weeks ago. They are selling a TON of Harley Trikes now. As their key demographic ages, they are resorting to training wheels to keep them riding. Probably a good idea, but it doesn't bode well for Harley.

there is not as much chrome on the CVO as you would think ... most of the parts you showed are aftermarket, e.g. passenger floorboard covers, engine cover above the gear box, etc. CVO is more a statement to the public, see i can and yeah, the bigger engine is certainly more fun to ride. regarding the leaking break reservoir, every other year, get a new rubber gasket from your preferred parts dealer like Dennis Kirk. Costs around 7$ and takes care of the potential leaking. I like that bike but to sell it, i recommend a good wash / wax / detailing :) close ups showed that the engine was rather dirty and the spot where the seat hits the right side cover looked really ugly ;-) in the end the bike is 12 years old and a Rushmore (>= 2014) Ultra Classic / Limited with low miles is just 3 grand more.

Nice looking bike and I love the sound, but if I was choosing between a Harley like that and a Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager (which looks like a really comparable machine) my personal choice would be the Voyager. I just think the Kawasaki looks better and would be more reliable as well as a lot cheaper to buy and maintain.

Kawasaki Vulcan not even in the same class as the harley cvo .....cheap imation chrome on Vulcan,,,and not so reliable and as well put together as harley davison
The comments saying that Harley's are reliable have me cracking up. 🤣 OMG my sides! Get your Kawasaki man. You won't regret it. Plus you'll be able to go about twice as fast as any comparable Harley. Harley's are very slow, unreliable and rattle apart if you don't retorque everything before every ride.
