Nice to find the channel. I traded in a GSA for a K1600GT Rocket ship a few months ago. An amazing bike. Comfortable on long rides and easy in the city. The balance is great at all speeds. The power is insane :) One bike be extremely careful on, when riding on the freeways. Most cars don't stand a chance and a Corvette is breakfast LOL! Great Video.

Have you given the RT1250 a ride. While the big 1600 is very good I found the RT to be more manageable for my size (5'4" and 130 lbs weight). Every feature the 1600 has the RT has also. Have ran 2500 miles in my three years of owning it. Have you set the spring preloads to AUTO yet. You load the bike up with all your gear with the bike set on minimum preload, stand the bike upright with you on it and set the preload to auto. The ride height loaded is stored in memory and when you unload the bike the height stays the same, it's genius. PS the switch for the back seat heating is on the left hand side of the seat and the front seat is accessed from the menu button and the intelli wheeel.

I enjoy watching your videos. But please, read the owners manual next time before you ride a bike and tell us what the bike can do/button does? That "R" by your left knee was in all most likelihood the reverse button you nearly pushed whilst riding the bike. From what I understand, it operates of the starter motor. The radio would in all most likelihood be operated by the turning knob and buttons where your left hand is. Other than that, keep up the good work and ride safe!

The K1200GT & K1300GT are faster than the K1600GT most of the time - they just have much better power to weight ratios but none of them are close to 2seconds for 0-60 times. I've ridden all of them and owned a K1200GT, K1200S., K1300S and K1600GT Sport (same as the one you're riding). The K16 is an impressive beast and a lovely motor but compared to the previous 4 cylinder bikes you can feel that the performance is blunted by the extra weight. They're all fast bikes but if it was a race between them I'd take the K1300GT, if money was an issue I'd take the K1300GT again, otherwise then yes I'd probably take the K16GT - it is fast and capable and quite special.

@BobJones200016 жыл бұрын
I would have agreed until we did some drag races. I love the power delivery of the K12/13/16s. But the 16 simply smoked the 12 and 13 when we had them altogether recently. It was actually a real surprise as apart from the massive low rev torque of the 16 they feel similar. The 16 feels a lot heavier around the carpark, but that disappears very quickly once underway.
@alexwencel37196 жыл бұрын
Dark Destroyer I too have owned the k1200s and now own the k1600 gt sport. The 1200 s was a great bike but reliability was always a concern and it really was not a touring machine with those funky bags. Moreover the 1200 was not a two up machine nor was it comfortable. Engineering moves on and the 1600 is world class.
