Milon by a mile. His stances way more steadier than Mariani's, while Mariani looks to be straining to keep balance at times. In saying that, I'm just comparing these 2 specifically, both are outstanding really.

I think Mariani has more fluid movement and more body dynamics. Milon's technique has more pauses and dramatic movements. Both have performed unsu quite well and might have done it based on what they have trained for. If I was one of the judge, I'll go for Mariani based on how I was trained. I like Sensei Yahara's unsu.

two athletes are very good, the embusen of the kata is the same and the application of the technique the same only changes the way it was presented, milon in my opinion has a firmer base and a little more kime, if I were to choose one of the two would choose michael milon, OSS!

i thought Roberto's stances were a bit wobbly, and his techniques weren't as sharp. Both organisations probably look for different criteria, but imo Milon's was a much cleaner and sharper, and way more zanshin.

Io penso che solo chi fa parte della federazione FIKTA può dire nei commenti che il kata di Mariani sia migliore. Chiunque altro, di altra federazione/di altro stile...ma anche un osservatore comune... vede senza ombra di dubbio che la velocità, la stabilità delle posizioni e la forza di Milon sono ben superiori a quelle di Mariani (senza nulla togliere a questo "ragazzo", che è super bravissimo...e lo dico dopo averlo visto anche dal vivo).

Dato che faccio allenamento col grande Mariani e posso assicurarvi che ora il suo Unsu è ancora meglio di quello visto nel filmato, penso di poter dire che è il più grande esecutore di questo kata.

I feel Mariani's was more fluid and I liked his jump better. Milon's techniques were very picturesque, but overall execution was very stiff, very robotic. It didn't seem he was fighting imaginary opponents, IMHO. Personally, I prefer Yuki Mimura's Unsu over theirs

Mariani!! milon è veloce, ma non è veramente efficace nelle tecniche. in più di un passaggio, per essere veloce non esprime completamente le tecniche.

Mariani... Tecnicamente migliore.. Inoltre finisce la tecnica.. Millon tecnice corte, più veloci ma inefficaci.
