can you explain further about u grider why and how they placed 30m long .. it looks like normal bridge to me so want to know what makes it spwcial

I think in metro viaduct construction it is not easy to transport such long girder . So special fabricated trailer with 12 axles has been used for this girder launch. Longest U girder erection at a height of 20 meters is challenging. Mainly this kind of long girder launch will be useful to speed up the viaduct construction .

Major portion of the work completed. Finishing touch work need to be complete. Due to election code of conduct it might be opened to traffic very soon without any inauguration i guess

Existing contractor terminated. Now new contractor assigned.

Due to sub contractor/ agency problem it was delayed and they ( RVNL ) terminate their contract. Now new firm has been identified, they will start the metro work soon in this stretch

@@karagis75 No. Small Metro depot will be constructed at Siruseri Sipcot. So without completion of Siruseri Sipcot - Sozhinganallur section metro trains can't be operate in OMR road i guess
