This seiko is the first watch my wife ever suprised me with ! The only watch she did her searching and ordering for my birthday last year and maybe I see it as a more serious watch is because of the reasons above, but it’s a gorgeous watch and I love it, I’ll never sell or trade it! I guess it has a lot of sentimental value!

I got one on the way from Macy's one day sale $135 that's a no brainier. Also have the sarb 35 (baby grand Seiko) that sits next to my turtle . Now I'm looking at the recraft Seiko line

I really like this timepiece, i have seen and read reviews times and times, but 42mm is a bit bigger for a dress watch, 40mm would be pretty ideal size.

It is beautiful and yes it is a bit big at 42mm. Really at the upper end of what I would like to wear.

Do you think a blue leather strap would pair well with this watch? Looks a beaut by the way!

Maybe a blue strap with white stitching or a dark blue strap. It really is a nice looking watch. I notice I tend to wear this one more often now over my others.

Hello man how are you? . I just received this watch from my mum as a gift and l would lime to know your honest opinion how is it? Is it any good quality? Or it will last long? And the most important is about the hardlex glass, if it easy to scratch it??? If you can tell me your honest opinion l will really appreciate thank.

I just saw this. The bracelet is decent but it has a thin clasp. Definitely not high end. I love the dial and the hardlex still has no scratches on it. I have had it about 2 years now and it is still a great watch.

I've seen this watch advertised as Presage, but others show it as automatic? It would fall under automatic range wouldn't it?

JamieB It is an automatic watch. And as far as I know all Presage watches are automatics. I don't think this model is officially a Presage though.

Xombiticus yeh that's what I thought, I've bought it and they had it under presage range, but I agree it's not. Its stunning in the hand, I need at least 2 links out

I had it adjusted when I bought it and they only removed 2 links. Looks like all full links.

How does it look outdoor? Is it so reflective that you can't read the time under lightning

Not at all. Very readable.

Does the bracelet rattle on wrist ?

No, the bracelet doesn't rattle very much. For it's cost I think it is a decent bracelet. It has a stamped clasp instead of a milled one but that is what you would expect from Seiko at that price point.

Oh yes. I wear it out casually all the time. Very versatile. I wear it a ridiculous amount of the time compared to my other watches.

Hello. I have never seriously measured it. I have worn it for weeks at a time and not really noticed it being off. Maybe 2 minutes a month at worse? I wish I could tell you more but I honestly have never noticed any huge deviation.

Yes, you can wind it by hand or shake it.
