Did you replace the SRS module because an error code? Or were you trying to fix a series of problem that lead up to it? My Tblazer has a open circuit for the front passenger impact sensor. I'm afraid if I replace it, it wont clear the error and I may have to replace the module.

it's all about cost... they expect 90% of people will just get a new car if airbags deploy. The insurance company will even tell you it isn't safe to drive and we can't insure it until fixed blahh, blah, blah. The other 10% of us will complain and grip because they cram the stuff in there from the middle out but we do it anyway just because there is no reason to trash a perfectly good vehicle because of the throw-away society we live in today.
