Nice demo, awesome juicy playing ! I suggest live comparison between Tornado Jam and Clean drive. My experience - have them both, but to me Tornado Jam seems to be a hair more mid pushed (even with accent in the middle), Clean drive is for me a little bit more open and easier to handle, also cleanup is much better. Tornado Jam is great, but I am still trying to find my way to it, and deciding whether to keep it in my pedalboard - with Clean drive "it" was there straight from beginning ;) Peace !✌

Yes the tornado has more mids and i find it more open,less compressed.I like both,i will have it on my live board soon to try

Vivien, is this pedal trying to replace a fender superreverb? the glassy control doesn't sound glassy at all it just sounds like a treble control? This Honey Bee Tornado Jam is not a Tube Screamer type of pedal?

It just sounds like a cranked amp even at low volume.It s completely different from the other od i have in this style.It sounds like an amp pushed to break up. Sounds glassy to me,it affects the high end in a particular way. It has strong bass and doesn t have any mid hump and the accent gives a different mid frequency than a tube screamer,more high mid like a mid setting on a treble booster but better voiced,not as caricatural. If you have a fender and want the tone it would have on 10,this is it. No tube screamer or clone can do that.

@@vivienverdier The NUX 65 overdrive pedal does this. Have you tried this pedal? So you have to STACK a TS tube screamer pedal BEFORE the Nux 65 or Honey Bee Tornado Jam = SRV 83 MoCambo?

@@waynegram8907 I never tried the nux but this one doesn t simulate a fender amp,it gives that tone on a fender amp on clean but respect the tone of the amp.It won t make your marshall sounds like a fender. Yes you put a ts in front of it and that s el mocambo all the way I tried to showcase the possibilities of the pedal but i will use it with little breakup and put a ts in front or the imperium for soloing

@@vivienverdier try putting a TS tube screamer before the tornado jam = El mocambo tone. Make a video doing this setup to see if it sounds like El mocambo tone

I’m loving that Albert Collins part!! You got it very well!! One of the most difficoult to play. Well done. I have the double trouble, but this sound totally different to me and more “real”. The DT is way over compressed to me and scooped, I might try this too if I got to sell some stuff first 😅😅

The amp is a 1971 Fender Pro Reverb i to a 1x10 Evm10m The amp is very attenuated with volume on 4,bright on,treble on 6 and bass on 4 if i remember correctly

Different od here! It doesn t sound like any of my other od It s a mix of an od and treble booster with the switch but way more musical and manageable It s more open,less compressed,less scooped ,more amplike than the clean drive but i love both

I have the Loco and it has nothing to do with an overdrive,it s an electra type pedal,like a treble booster but with a range knob and a bass knob.It s meant to be used on a dirt amp,not on a clean amp😉
