I'm so hyped for more features, I love all the cool stuff that's in SS13 but even after getting accustomed to SS14, it feels so awkward to play 13 with the tile movement and a lot of the screen being taken up by other things. Whenever I do play SS13 I usually just go Botanist and not do much.

Well actually, going based off the /TG/ codebase which this is heavily based on, emagging a borg first unlocks their cover, then if you open their cover with a crowbar and emag them again, they become lawed to only protect and obey syndicate agents instead of crew, with an added law 0 that only you decide who is a syndicate agent.

Good guestion, i asume since its your brain you can remember stuff but honestly you could rp having amnesia about events before your death. This way you could still be the same person but due to trauma you cannot remember the killer and this way you let the killer have fun, avoid accidental rule break and ban and end up making funny/awsome rp situtation. I gues the rule really depends on the server and you can always use admin help to be sure (i asume, never had to use admin help, expect when they contact me).

how i do it is if your Murdered/or died in a way that your brain would be effected then you get Amensia, if you agreed to be borged up/signed up for it then you remember how you died, but if Ghosted then no Complete memory loss.

You mentioned the limited supply of items that certain modules contain. Can those be restocked manually, or does the entire module have to be swapped out if I run out of one type of cable, for example? Because that would feel very much like what companies are currently trying to force consumers to go through with ink cartridges!

In SS13 a procedure that can be done with traitors is to borg them so they have to serve the crew instead, although no one ever does that because they can just be turned evil again. Also that law zero is less ambiguous than the SS13 counterpart, I genuinely do not see how it can be confusing, it's just what's on the top has more priority than the laws on the bottom, so if two laws conflict, you always should pick the one on the top, or so it is like that on SS13. There is some people that would use laws to rule lawyer in SS13 to cause grief and they would insist that's not how it works, but the laws are based on the work of Isaac Asimov, and that's how it works on his pieces.

Edit: I know there are other places to put this, but I think the cane blind people start with should either have a summon familiar type function, (seeing eye dog/monkey/bear, whatever animal can grab basically), that or have whatever tech the ninja has that lets it return to them. Well, seeing eye monkeys were kinda a thing but rare, seeing eye borgs, even the original drone now have better job specific options. I know it functionally does nothing but, without a pin pointer, the clown can hide it well. The clown will think twice slipping the old lady with a space bear. Learn to play like this a bit now, as when jobsite blindness and limb loss becomes more commonplace the surgery/limb update.

Downside of all Borgs - they don't have a hand. So Engi borg simply can't even help to build basically anything. Hell, it can't even fix floor tile! Also they have no any sort of a bag, so medical borg is limited with a bunch of low-med equipment (1 blood pack, 1 oinment etc) By the way there's craftable flashes in Exocraft station (or w/e it's called - the one which craft borgs).

Would cyborgs be allowed to refuse maintenance from non security non roboticist personel via, 3rd law, and 1st law. in the act to avoid tampering Also does maintenence port require to be open when emagging. cause that seems like it would be a problem. cause borg should not be that easy to emag. And when emaged, would it be encouraged for them to "Rules lawyer," the 0th command. like, they emagged you but never gave you a command. would you be allowed to go and just... get fixed. for the saftey of the crew. but even when fixed, due to the saftey of the crew mate that did emag you, don't rat them

No but you can use harm intent to use tools in modules as weapons like the crowbar. One round I was a janitor borg with a crowbar beating up a slime
