Isai is easily the best in the world. Even though it was close, Isai played all those low tier characters and still managed to beat this legendary Yoshi player.

Not only is he not _easily_ the best in the world, he's probably not even the best in the world at all. He's certainly in contention but there are several players who are typically considered better and outperform him regularly.Alvin, SuPeRbOoMfAn, and Fukurou are all likely better and far more consistent. He's certainly the most versatile player in terms of his mastery of all characters, but that doesn't make him the _best._

Dino Spumoni Isai is easily the best smash 64 player of all time, but anyone can see that he wasn't even trying in this video, or ever. Isai going 10% is in contention with superboomfan, but he normally brings about 2% of his full skill to tourneys and thus places top 3 consistently.

Indeed. People like to doubt his potential, but the fact that he sometimes opens with Luigi and bodies top players shows you it's not all talk. He then proceeds to switch character and lose the game, he just likes to start off the game by saying "yeah you'll maybe win this one, but don't think for one second that I can't destroy you if I want to".

At 1:01:55, you can see Isai perfectly time the rest's position with the stage and Wispy blowing, knowing he's going to fall between the platforms, onto the ground and be pushed to the ledge to be as far away from Yoshi's respawn as possible. If this isn't one of the most insane big brain kills in Smash 64, idk what is. Isai is just too good and always so good to watch his games.

Kirby's Up B is a very poor and slow option, especially in 64. Kirby is the second best character in this game. It's much safer to forward air, down air, back air, and up tilt with Kirby. These option are just safer. Also the down air already spikes 46:22

sure hope prince was having fun. i knew isai was gonna pull it out from the start. classic isai. he was just toying with him honestly. id love to play against him. i like playing all the characters too. that samus game coulda been better but whatcha gonna do. i wish when you played tournaments people weren't so tense. they didnt even wanna look in eachothers face in the very beginning. at one point isai turned his head when prince looked in his direction! :p peace be unto you brethren! war in smash64!

Fun fact, melee DK still looses hard to melee yoshi. Yoshi can still combo very well. But the match up isn't as brutal as it is in smash 64 since melee's sheild stun is a bit more contained. And in this case, DK can often up b out of shield to punish yoshi, but he also got a combo game of his own. However what really hurts melee DK the most is his tie hurtbox, it's a pointlessly huge hurtbox for an already huge monkey who happens to be heavy and gets comboed by everyone in the game.

Curtis Rogers They're taking their stocks until they are equal to the previous game they won with. (i.e. Let's say Prince wins a game against Isai's Luigi with 1 remaining Yoshi stock, then next game Prince will take his own stocks until he is at the 1 Yoshi stock he won with in the previous game.)

Depends on how many lives they have leftover from the previous match. If you die twice but win, then you drop down twice at the start of the next match and continue with two lives again
