Yeah, I think people who have been in Smash for a while are not used to having a "counterpick meta" in a way Ultimate does. Most smash titles made spreading yourself thin have more diminishing returns when being a solo main or even just one secondary max is enough, but in Ult there is benefit of using multiple characters. We're seeing people randomly pick up Roy, Cloud, Aegis, Snake, Steve, Seph, etc as answers to when their main doesn't seem to do well in certain mus. Even long-standing solo mains of strong characters have been picking up a secondary at minimum

I like how dubuz uses luma as a bait to allowing him to grab because most players try to get rid of luma, so what riddles did was predictable. When I main rosa most players always go for the luma and forget where rosa is and then I grab and counter. You have to focus on both expect to get baited with luma. If rosa is mid to far range expect the starlets, luma charge launch, or down b. Try not to jump so often since rosa is air neutral excels in the that. Take advantage when rosa does does down neutral when in air since the hitbox is not as great unless close or with luma. If rosa does a down b there's a slight delay to attack. I know there's more where rosa sucks at, but I'm out of ideas.

Almost got destroyed by a low tier earlier by a great performance by Skyjay, and now eliminated by a mid-tier! Amazing job by Dabuz, Rosa is such a technical character (more technical and precise than any FGC character) and Dabuz is the only one getting remotely good results with her. Really happy for him after the bs that happened at GOML with Terry's DLC up-smash, revenge is sweet

Terry is free as fuck when juggled and thrown off stage lol. If Terry can’t keep his feet firmly on the ground in middle of stage he dies. He is also stubby as hell and way too many times he hits only one of them and not both Luma for free punish.

He is not at that level yet. I see Riddles as that annoying good player that you encounter on brackets that he is not quite a top player but if you dont play optimally he might beat you. He is mostly carried by those ass characters though.

Kazuya is very broken I think but could become balanced as people learn the matchup unlike Steve who is fundamentally unbalanced so no riddles is not carried by terry he is a legit player

Find recovery options for character. Use short hops neutral attacks. I click a jump button and a attack button at the same time to do it. change your controls that will help with your main.use a smash controller than a switch joycon. LEARN HOW TO FUCKING BAIT AND MAKE YOUR ATTACKS LESS PREDICTABLE 👌. LEARN HOW TO FIGHT OFF STAGE. SOMETIMES ITS OK TO TAKE DAMAGE IN THE AIR TO GET A SECOND JUMP. ETC TOO LONG. REMEMBER FIGHT OTHER PLAYERS IN ARENAS THERE IS DISCORDS OUT THERE. ALSO TRY FIGHT CLOSE RANGE BATTLE TO GET USED TO GETTING PRESSURE. THIS WILL HELP WHEN YOUR ON LEDGE. YOUR OPPONENT WILL ALWAYS TRY TO GET INTO YOUR HEAD. THEY WILL WATCH YOUR REACTION TOO PRESSURE. IF THEY SEE THAT YOUR ARE PANICKING, THEY WILL CONTINUE. THATS WHY IN TOURNAMENTS NO ONE SMASHES AS MUCH BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WILL BE PUNISHED AND ARE ALWAYS SHIELDING AND BAITING. LEARN TO SPOT DODGE AS WELL.
