SSD, SD, or C-Fast? Which is the best storage option for the BMPCC4K? | Frame Voyager

Great video! It would be nice to hear your opinion on the CFast to SSD options out there (SolidPod, Zitay etc.) One of the benefits is that you're still able to go with an affordable SSD option, whilst freeing up a USB-C slot.

I think you may have missed the read write speed issue between them. An SD card is going to be slower than a T7 or T5 SSD especially with the 6k raw now days. CFast are fast cards but the price per gig as you said is ridiculous.

I use ssd's but I would like to have second option for easier gimbal use and just for backup when ssd or hdmi will fail but I wonder wich is better to invest sd cards or cfast.

Smart! It does have versatility in options for sure. It depends if you ever want to upgrade to a camera that has a C-fast option of sd option. But if not, the sd cards are fairly inexpensive. Just make sure to buy the correct ones so you don't have problems filming at higher frame rates!
