This video ends almost as abruptly as the film. It's a great film and worth seeing in theaters for the spectacle. But from a narrative perspective Fury Road gives you everything you need to understand the world. And with the ending you honestly walk away knowing as much leaving the theater as you did having seen Fury Road.

As a veteran I have a question for more average viewers who've never served. How many of you felt the "What kind of American?" Scene was batshit crazy as if it came out of nowhere? Maybe like it wasn't "earned" or whatever. Genuine question, reply if you felt that way as I'm kind of conducting a poll here to confirm a suspicion I have about this film's approach to NOT romanticizing war.

Furiosa was incredibly boring and dragged something terrible... sorry but just awful compared to the others. The CGI looked very bad too in many scenes. Fury Road did everything better! Even Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is a better film I think.

Made it until 30 minutes into the movie, had to bail, what a bad production. The almost endless B.S. conversations between leading characters, was having curled toes until it hurt.

Literally has nothing to do with it. Female led films have been some of the top films in the last year. Barbie made $1 billion and even Poor Things quadrupled its budget.
@chrisweber7460
@chrisweber7460 Күн бұрын
@@FrameVoyager Poor Things is a problematic movie, sex with a more ore less 16 year old girl in a older body was quite problematic. And i am not the only one who see it in this kind and nobody which i know went to this movie a second time! And Barbie was a franchise movie where generations of girls and women could see here favored toy of her childhood in a movie, and it was the first of a kind! The story was not important. Fouriosa is Mad Max without Mad Max! It tanks! The people are oversaturated with movies without a good story! In the end you could say this is the work of Disney and The Message! 😉

I’m annoyed by that guy and his audience. Used to watch his stuff but it seems that any time there is a hint of a female lead in the movie, he basically says it’s trash and his audience just goes along with it.

Such a shame that both Dredd movies haven't been excellent - although I didn't dislike the second one - since it's such an incredibly rich universe of lore. Also very expansive and profound sometimes. The entire 2000AD franchise should get the same love as the marvel shit.

I didn't want to drive 70 miles to see it in the theater, so I waited 'till it came out streaming and I just saw it. I thought it was amazing, and I'm disappointed with Jeff VanderMeer because I really respect his Southern Reach Trilogy novels, which are atmospheric and brilliant science fiction. I believe this movie is a warning.

I loved Ex Machina and Annihilation, Dredd was fine and definitely didn't deserve to bomb. Men was interesting but not for me. Still haven't seen Civil War but a lot of folks have said it sucks. It's sad to see him step away from directing but I totally get it. Hopefully he finds some time to recharge and comes back better than ever. His more cerebral stuff is always great. Still haven't watched Devs but it certainly sounds up my alley. Maybe I'll go watch that soon.

This was such a labor of love. And it showed. I loved every minute of it. My only complaint was the recasting of the actor who played Slick in Fury Road as Scrotus. It was the only thing that would momentarily take me out of the experience. I told myself that Slick was the illegitimate son of Scrotus. That would be funny if it were true. Great vid!

Q : Awesome video! Of course it would depend on the exposure level but generally speaking which do you personally use more in dark situations 1250 or 3200iso? A : Typically I would use 3200 ISO because I have more room to work with and I like the expose for that better than a lower ISO like 1250. I'll have to do that sometime! ***Your answer to the 3200 vs 1200 comparison For cinematography, I'm wondering if ISO 3200 is better than ISO1250 for nighttime indoor shots with lighting. ISO3200 is always handy for shooting, but when image quality is a priority, which is better for noise, 3200 or 1250? I'm using daVinci Resolve and am curious about the denoising results between 3200 and 1250. I've always been curious about the benefits. Finally, thank you so much for your good video!

The whole Stowaway sequence is the best part of the entire movie. A lot of it reminded of the first canyon scene from Fury Road where you see Furiosa and Max working together super well despite not knowing each other. The same happens in the Stowaway sequence with Jack and Furiosa though this time it’s much more insane and impressive. Their 78 days of shooting this really paid off.

Wait!! George Miller was put off by de-aging tech still had an uncanny valley effect, so they cast Anya Taylor-Joy, who has a natural uncanny valley effect because of how weird she looks? And George was fine with this? No wonder it bombed at the box office, and the movie was OK at best.
