01:35 - Just recently found out that the most of conventional compressors can be Limiters and Saturators too having Knee control and Ratio above 12:1. Although harmonics driver is already a quiet interesting 🤔

It's basically SSLs take on Distressor with some nice extras but it's not a direct copy of it, what I like about it is that it sound smoother and more transparent. You can get away with like 20dB of gain reduction on vocals and barely hear it compressing them with certain settings... Definitely versatile tool and perfect companion for the VCA comp that is on every SSL channelstrip so yeah for 49$ would be great deal.

Blitz in german means Lightning and Blitzer is the Flashlight on a camera and also the speed camera used for capturing speeding cars cause it also has a flash. SSL makes great plugins but the prices are a bit s..t, a bit like a speeding ticket.

1 - Please talk more absolute bollocks! It's why I tune in. Either that or make companion videos called "Is it Bollocks?" which can feature more uncut bollocks. 2 - SSL seem to (semi-annually) have some OBSCENE sales, think I got the buss comp for £29.99 just over a year ago. Like a lazy Plugin Alliance they WILL drop that price, just a waiting game for the summer madness/black Friday/Christmas bargains. 3 - Have a go at the Sonimus console emulations! They're not shit. Or bollocks.

Reminds me a bit of a super stripped down Elevate from newfangled audio. But at a similar price I’ll stick to elevate. The ability to add transients back in after some limiting is so nice, I’m surprised more companies don’t offer it.

I don't find founding out about plugins that important so like a bit of banter and talking nonsense. I find I get annoyed of faff when looking at a physical item becuase there's always a lot to go into and faff can get quite annoying, for a interface or headphone, or anything where there isn't any information out for... but probably good to get the plugin out of the way then talk faff after as many take plugins super seriously when they a lot more dim a dozen than physical things... what you could do is put a time pointer just before you answer "is it shit?" for people to check if they want to listen to the rest after they check that?? Thinking about getting annoyed... for me it tends to be people that put on some sort of special voice for a KZbin video, that when with the other factors I start to get annoyed... don't find that here at all becuase you are normal chaps talking normally, half like you're at the pub lol
