The ssn trace is part of a credit report so you need an investigator or background screener to run it.

The Social Security number trace will not provide current or prior employment history. The green card question is a tricky one. It is possible that a green card holder can apply for and obtain a Social Security number, But that is not always what they do

@@Santoniworldwide My Mercedes was stolen. I want to find the person so I can get the car back or sue him. I hired a PI, and he got me data on LPR's which showed where the car was sighted in several states. I think in order for this to work I would need to access the data daily which isn't affordable. Is there another way to trace him? I don't know if he lives in one place. I know he was a pilot for United Express in Houston, but I can't verify that.

Great question. Work history is usually provided by the applicant at the time a background check is conducted. Employers also use the resume to find the employers to verify. The ssn will only lead to uncovering work history if you use it to run a full credit report which requires authorization from the applicant.

Some time ago I found that I lost my Social Security Number card, I only have my DMV license. How do I recover my Social Security Number? I do not remember the number ...
