I don't really know how to feel about them. The first disappointment was the percheron Hanami. I just can't really put this huge horse together with spring and cherry flowers, it would look so much better on the marwari. The non-magical coat is interesting tho. Birkir is quite okay, but somehow it bothers me that the black horse turns into a white one, just like in the case of Duskgrim. After the Barkharts I put the bar pretty high, because they are the best magical horses so far(personal opinion) and these new spring horses just can't really jump it. I don't know, why, but I can't say I like them or dislike them without feeling a bitter taste in my mouth.

nah, the percheron is not the problem. its realistic coat is well, unrealistic, and the magic coat is too detailed which makes it look more like a rock than bark.

Exactly! Cherry trees are so delicate and elegant, but then SSO maxes it is the clunky Percheron. Also how it keeps the pink eyes in the non magic coat is weird to me.

Thank you CC for giving us the sneak peaks that the team for some reason can't really tease as effectively. As someone who has both of the original horses I'm honestly really disappointed. Especially after such a pretty sneak peek we got. I was really hoping the sakura replacement wouldn't be a perch but that fear has been realized now. I also can't really get over the weird color combinations with that moss on it. On top of everything it just feels like these two textures are far too detailed and would have worked better with simpler layouts on the leaves and bark. I love the town forms and the eyes but everything else just makes me kinda recoil from two horses I was finally actually excited to see.

True, the color choices are.. interesting. They just didn't choose the right green for that brown tone and it irritates me. I would've liked it better if they chose a better green, I mean it's not even that hard, I could do that and I'm not a professional. I'm fine with the detailed coats but the colors.. not so much-

as always, SSO can change/update the coats upon its release date. so there’s hope.. maybe little hope. i like the perch but the green moss and maybe a lot of detail is um weird.. i loved the previous sakura one and wished i got both of the lusitanos but i will be buying the perch because i kinda do like it.. (it’s mainly the main and tail.. i like how it’s got flowers growing and almost like Willow in WW my favorite NPC horse)

Be too, but I just wanted to say (sorry if that's anoying) the Percheron is probably not a buckskin (buckskin is caused because of cream gene (CR/n), when the horse's base color is bay. The buckskin has very non gradient black legs. What this horse is, is probably a Dun. The dun gene has eel-line and the gradient legs with the stripes and the general greyness (for example at the mane) I'm honestly just pointing it out because I love how perfectly accurate the coloration is and how kinda clearly you can see "Dun"

I really am amazed again. Not by the horses but the video! So well made!!! Everything fits, I love the camera movement and how you show everything- practically and in a really pretty way! The comparison was just genius! I really love that you don’t just do some spoiler videos but you present a high quality video that is better done than most of the videos of Sso let’s players. The Mawari is one of my favorite models in this game. The movements and little facial ticks are so cute and childlike. Definitely a good model for magical horses. I would've saved the Percheron magical for a different season (maybe Fall or Winter), but it's kind of neat that they are using different models for the release. I'm not sure how I feel about the magical coats, but I'll wait to see them in the game.

@@hivenera i don't mind the color of the eyes fot the magic coat, I do mind the color of the eyes for the normal coat. The reason for being magical is for the horse to have a normal coat and become a magic horse, if the horse already looks magical before it becomes magical, then what's the reason for having two coats? That's why I like more the old magic horses, they look very normal in one coat, and very magical in the other... The new ones just look weird with two odd coats... I know there are people who prefer these new ones, but for me it's very sad to see this beautiful percheron with such an amazing coat color and pink eyes that should only appear in the magic version.

@@longatti the eyes are strange to me as well, but after all, this is not official footage. Maybe they haven't done the non-magical eyes just yet. They've got weeks till the release, so basically anything can happen. Or maybe it's just me being too optimistic.

Interesting choices. The marwari is a gorgeous horse ( I love the ears and the green eyes), although a very stiff model. Also the under bark on birkir is wrong. Real birch tree under bark is smooth and soft with little horizontal lines. The bark they have under the white skin is all thick and gnarled like the outer bark of an oak tree. Hanami is lovely, I adore the pink eyes and the dark bark on his coat. However, the flowers in its mane seem a bit pixilated? Hopefully it will look clearer in game. Spiders where an odd choice of pet...not bad, merely interesting...I would have thought birds would have been a more natural pet choice. Birds and trees tend to go together, but we have been getting a lot of birds recently, so maybe that is why they went with spiders. All in all the models are gorgeous, I will probably buy one or both anyway. Thanks for the video CC Creations! I love your spoilers so much I always wait for you videos!

Agree with everything you said and good point on the berch tree not being accurate, I don't think a lot of people will catch onto that. Also, tarantulas/spiders also live in trees like birds so it's not out of place, but birds would be better I agree. XD

As a remake I think it's alright but not like oh I love it, would have preferred if they used the Lusitano model again. Buckskin percehron is gorgeous! The magic coats are well done but I don'''t really like them. I think for both these horses the regular coats are better. The spiders are cute.

I think the Percheron horse were to keep the mane and tail to how they are now but instead just change the style of the body to be more flowery and prettier than just looking like bark it would probably look at lot better in ( my opinion ). The Birch horse I like the normal coat than the magic coat but I don't like how there's a barky underlayer on the horse's belly I think that should be a bit lighter than dark like the cherry blossom horse's body

birkir's city coat is SO pretty to me. I'm not a big fan of the marwaris and wasn't going to get one until I saw this video, I NEED to get my hands on this marble-eyed weirdo. The magic coat is cool too (I especially like the multiple "eyes"), but I'll probably be keeping it in its city coat permanently because I love its googly eyes

I think these are nice but I definitely prefer Sakura over Hanami no question. Fortunately, I'll be able to have them both. I love the percheron model and I think the detailing was really nice on the wood texture and mane, but i don't particularly care for the green moss on the legs, would've just preferred the horse to have more pink detailing like the petals on the back with Sakura. Still, I'm also glad they didn't re-release the discontinued model and I'm glad they didn't make these TOO similar to the old ones.

Love the marwari model for birkir but I dont really feel like the percheron was the "best" breed for Hanami, I would have liket maybe the knabstrupper, finnhorse or something else, The Percheron would have been great for a oak or a pine tree themed magic horse. But thats just my opinion ^-^

Percheron is one of my favorite models in the game but I'm not a huge fan of it as the cherry tree. The majority of the skin is a very dark color that while looks like bark has very weird patterning OF said bark chunks. The added green bits on the rest of the horse just feel off. Wish they made it pink flowers instead.

I’m really disappointed. These horses had so much potential yet all of it somehow got wasted. I’m going to put why I think this below so maybe the star stable team can see why there are flaws in the designs. First of all, the birch horse. I applaud the use of a Marwari, since birch trees are usually thin. However, the leaves on the tail look incredibly out of place. The tail also seems to have tree bark on the end ? It makes it look very unpleasant and unrealistic that it swishes even though it’s tree bark. It also makes it look muddy which, once again, unpleasant. The normal coat looks fine, just needs a bit more detail. Second, the cherry blossom horse. This one I have a big problem with. Choosing the Percheron horse for to represent cherry trees was in my opinion a terrible idea. Cherry trees are plants with elegant twisting branches, while the Percheron horses are more clunky and jerky. This sort of puts a dampen on cherry blossoms since they seem incorrectly represented. The flowers in the mane seem like some free clip art just pasted onto the mane- they look so out of place and the chunky model mane just really makes this apparent. I honestly prefer the old tree horses. I wish they would come back but sadly they will not. I love every horse star stable releases- but this time I’m pretty disappointed.

I absolutely love the cherry blossom one! I love the shimmery/glittery mane! I sadly missed out on the original cherry blossom one and at least this one they said will be coming back and would be a perfect substitute. I wi sh i could somehow get the original, the only way I think i could is if they added a feature where we could buy and sell horses amongst our friends and other players like some other horse games do. Maybe they’ll add that in the future since a lot of people complain about horses they regret buying and not getting much in return for selling them back to the game.

The only part I really like is the marwari's normal coat. The magic coat...? It's...not great. Mostly because whatever artist did it made it too stiff and "neat" looking. Looks artificial, too many conflicting things going on, and the direction of the bark doesn't flow with the horses body. The old one is far superior. The cherry blossom one is just a travesty. I already thought Perceron was a terrible choice for the blossom horse, but the giant bark pattern just isn't working and makes the horse look awkward and chunky. The mane doesn't even go with the rest of it. Even though Sakura trees naturally have dark bark, it just looks BAD on a horse. The original horse is so much better. I don't know how you manage to mess up something as gorgeous as a Sakura theme, but sso managed it. It's almost a talent. So dissapointed. I've been looking forwards to a new Sakura horse for years and they totally borked it.

The lusitanos were my fav magic horses, and tbh I might be so biased, that I don't see anything wrong with them haha. Birch trees are the prettiest in my opinion, and they portrayed it really well. Especially how the bark seems to break. The non magic coat is gorgeous, I love the eyes - and how the black and white parts got reversed. While spiders as pets couldn't have been a better choice. Really can't complain c:

Saw someone compare the wood texture to Minecraft texture and unfortunately that feels very accurate... The bright part of the Birch texture is well made, but the darker one that's supposed to show the inner layer feels off and almost looks like stone, plus the moss on both horses looks strange and out of place. The magical coats are a downgrade in comparison to the old versions. Things I liked: Both normal coats, Birkir's ears.

I don’t really know how I feel about them, anyone else notice the ears on the Marwari are green? It gives off weird vibes. The Percheron coats are gorgeous, but if they had switched the wood color, like the white wood for the flowers and the darker wood for the vines, I think they would be like 10x better. I just can’t seem to get on board with them, but I really hope they update them a bit more before the release. I personally think they need more work.

i didn’t pay enough attention to the pictures so i assumed both would be marwaris. i actually like that they mixed breeds though. the magical coats are not really it for me… overly saturated and too, too many details are suffocating the models. the regular coats are gorgeous though and i love the magical eyes. don’t know if i’ll buy either, we’ll see what they’re like in game.

Odd suggestion, but I think it would be super cool if you did like a “rider POV” so you can see what it looks like to actually ride on the horse!

I don't really feel sure about the Hanami.. The other one looks good, the only thing that ruins it is the mane. The short tree mane doesn't fit the horse. I think they will do something about that

I really like the normal coats, but I'm pretty disappointed with the magical ones, especially Hanami... Maybe they tried too hard to make them look different from the old versions, but some of the color combinations don't look good (i.e. the dark green moss vs the pink mane) and the flowers in the mane look like stickers. I adore how they turned Birkir's ears into leaves though. It's a shame, there's a lot of detail in parts of the coat but it doesn't quite work as a whole. I wish I'd had the opportunity to buy the Lusitanos.

This is really interesting to see two different horse types for the “magical” horses as I like to call them, something I never thought sso would do if I’m being honest. I like the change tho, and hope to see more of these types of two different horses in the future :D

I love the horses non magical coats, but I think that the magical coats (especially the birkir), are very cartoony, even though tree-horses aren't realistic just because tree-horses don't actually exist, I think the barkharts just had a more realistic texture to the magical coat, which the birkir and hanami don't have.

Thanks for sharing! I very love the marwari, but in my opinion the percheron is a very big and strong horse for that pink flowerly mane... but its MY opinion.. (i loved a bit more the originals, but these are good too)

I dont really know how i feel about them. I think i set m,by expectations way too high for them when i saw there eye sneak peak. I thought hanami would be a smaller, elegant horse that had more pink and would be girly ( NOT saying only girls can like pink) and i was very exited about it bc thats my style. I kinda like the non magic coat but idk My first disappointment was that it was a Percheron, and it only had pink in the mane and tail (and eyes). The marwari i klike bc i love marwaris, but the magic and normal coat bothers me. A bit dissapointed (would of liked the og tree horses more) but ik some ppl like them. May get the pink spider tho, dont know. But i dont think i will be buying these horses, i was verrrry exited but now idk. I think star stable rushEd it too much so it dosnt look as good.

Ngl I feel they could do better.... the perch doesn't suit the softness spring gives the movement of the perch is very ridged while the Maw flows better. As someone who lived in Japan for a huge chunk of their life the cherry blossoms are- how can i put this... they are bad. It doesn't represent the Blossoms correctly. They are very fragile and fall easily so it would make sense if the body had them as well not just the mane, the bark is far too dark to be a cherry blossom the bark of a CB is dark but in that mid ground and it also has moss that lives on it as well not that weird blue / green leaves that it has. Not only that Cherry Blossom tree trunks are smooth... why is the body of the horse very ridged with the tree texture??
