I'm unclear about tire crack rules. I don't have a trans brake, or 2-step, (very old school) .I foot brake or power brake. Would I be disqualified?

When you launch the tires starts cracking, so to determine if you jumped they look at when the light was on vs when your car tires started cracking... look on youtube for some slowmo cars launching and you can see how the tires cracking. So on that motion they determine if you red light. That means you tried to launch the car before the light was on. They look at tire crack because that's the best way to know if someone jumped at the light. When launching a tirecrack occurs before the car starts moving. No matter how you launch your car, just don't do it before the light goes on otherwise it's a jump.
