SSX Tricky - Merqury City Meltdown Race (No Restrictions) -

introducing, the MCM UFO wrong warp.
by wiping out and touching the UFO trigger at the same time (very tough given the trigger's spot and range), the direction of the warp is massively changed, leading to wild results. some results spawn you close to the ground past the tall bridge over the ice river (the place with the boats!), some results spawn you far enough in the track to instantly warp and get the classic wormhole spawn. some even send you backwards! this TAS showcases what we believe to be the best possible outcome from this wrong warp for overall in-game time. the legality of this trick will certainly be interesting.
if anyone has the means to verify that this works on console too, that would be greatly appreciated. we've already confirmed that it works on different platforms

That's gonna be hell There's at least four instances where I have to jump into props (signs, parking meters, trash cans...) and get launched for airtime. I don't have the means to bruteforce those (have a tool run through those tricks finding the best result quicker than I could on my own). One of those launches has never happened more than once in known history ---------- The UFO trick is really strange, yeah. You have to crash and hit the warp roughly at the same time, but where you end up varies wildly. In testing, we'd found that the Near Miss uber tended to give good results. Good luck if you try to go for it
