Have you ever visited or stayed at St. Andrews State Park? If so, what did you think?

I’m a snow bird and winter in Panama City Beach and really enjoy eating all of the seafood but once a week we will go to St Andrews Park for the day and it is wonderful and towards the end of the day we will go to the picnic area by the boat launch and grill some stakes but watch out for the blue herring bird we named T Bone because on one picnic when we weren’t paying attention he stole my buddies T bone steak right off of the picnic table and I’m sure that’s not the first time he has done that with any food unattended

That’s hilarious. Glad you enjoyed the video. We still love the state park but am a little disappointed with how they renovated the campground. After hurricane Michael blew down a bunch of trees, the campground looks very sparse but it’s still a great place to visit. Just more open now for rv’s.

We took a pontoon boat out to shell Island very close to St. Andrew's a few years back, great memories. We'd like to walk the trails that you show in your video and rent some golf carts next time, good content!

@@nagelfamilyadventures7713 usually when we camp there it’s the off season for shell island and they aren’t running the ferries. Ever since Hurricane Michael hit, the park doesn’t feel quite as excluded but it’s still a nice place to camp since they’ve redone the whole campground.

This is a nice state park to stay. I need to keep this on my mind when traveling through on my bike tour.

Really all of the state parks along the Gulf Coast are nice. St. Andrews, Grayton Beach, Henderson Beach, Rocky Bayou are all worth staying at. When are you coming through on your bike tour?

travel tip: you can rent a bike at the Camp store and bike the park. When it gets too hot, you can stop at the beach for a swim. We love St. Andrews :).Not too crowded!

It’s always our go-to park for camping around here. Not too difficult to get a reservation and it’s such a nice getaway.

the wildlife is probably what I love most about the park. All the birds, deer, gators, and dolphins out at the beach make it feel so remote and special.

I own a condo in Venture Out next door to the park. It’s not unusual to see a group of deer walking down the road in the resort early in the morning.

We always see so many deer around the campground when we camp there. And of course gators in gator lake!

How much will it cost to visit the park
@thebutlerfamilyadventures2 жыл бұрын
I put all of the fees for park entrance and camping reservations in the video description. It just depends on how many people are in the car.
