St. Augustine Walk | St. George, Flagler College & Anastasia Island in March 2023

St. Augustine is the oldest continuously inhabited European-established settlement in what is now the contiguous United States. It is known for attractions such as the pedestrian-friendly St. George Street, old city gate, Castillo de San Marcos, and Ponce De Leon's Historical Fountain of Youth. I walk through the entire pedestrian section of St. George Street, visit Flagler College and the entrance to the Lightner Museum, and then walk across the Bridge of Lions of Anastasia Island.

St. Augustine is such a serene, beautiful, and historic city! 😍 15:34 Flagler College is glamourous campus with spectacular architecture and landscape, and it's fascinating to learn it used to be the Ponce de León Hotel! 🤩 I also enjoyed seeing the amazing architecture of the Lightner Museum and scenic views from the Bridge of Lions. 50:08 It might be just me, but a restaurant named, Gas, doesn't sound appetizing. 😂 Thank you for sharing this informative walk, AK! 🤗

my fav place.. you walked past the best pizza place "happy time pizza" on st george street. lots of specialty pizzas when you walk in.. i looked into living there. real estate woman told me it was actually less expensive to live inside st augustine area than just outside.. ? christmas decor there is awesome. the ghost tour i enjoyed & tour of the castle & old jail 🏰 👍 i took my daughters there on halloween but they dont celebrated it on that day? or didnt then.. anastasia island is nice too.

That’s really because on that day it was muggy out, the humidity was very high, not to mention how expensive it is to stay there. It’s a TO DO LIST / BUCKET LIST thing to do, so definitely visit St. Augustine, Florida at least once, be sure to book in advance and visit in the Winter or Fall. 🎉
