I'm turned 74 I live in Australia and I made my Confirmation in this Church I made my Communion in Birr too our school breakfast was marvellous. St Brendan's at least has kept the Altar. I visited there when I turned 53.

Dean Quinn ,Father Vaughan ,Father O,'Meara Dr. Rogers the Bishop of Kilaloe. I loved the shops in Birr. My sad story about Birr was we lost two lovely girls Nuala Nevin and Heather Warren.
