I was at adoration about three months ago and at my wits end...this woman came over to me and handed me this pamphlet... it was the Saint Bridget prayer which I never heard of. She saw the state which I was in, and she took time to explain to me the prayers on this pamphlet of Saint Bridget. I have not put it down since. Praying for all my family member's generosity, compassion and financial support offered to burry ny nephew who was extremely poor ,ever sick and had no quality of life . His financial situation was so dire that there was no mobey to burry him. I thank our family profoundly for coming together, for their cooperation and financial contribution to make sure that he will be decently buried this coming Saturday. May Isaac Ngakane's soul finds peace and happiness that eluded him in this life. May his humble soul rest in eternal peace.

One of the promises this prayer has, is that those souls who may pray it devotedly for twelve years, the Lord would not allow them to die without receiving the sacrament of confession. My father was very devoted to this prayer, he died out of Covid, but before he died, God gave the the grace to administer him the sacrament of confession. I am a priest and I am very grateful to God that he gave me the blessing to witnessed that what this prayer offers, is real.

I’m a year behind you and hope to finish in 2033 if I’m still here (I’m 73 right now!) According to the Promises though it doesn’t matter if I die before completing it as it will still be valid since I had the intention of completing it. One thing concerns me a bit though as some websites I’ve seen declare that Popes in the past have stated that although the saying of the prayers has much merit, the promises attached to them cannot be seen as absolute truth. Nevertheless I choose to believe the Magnificent Promises as I have great faith that St Bridget would have no reason to make up that part. 🙏🏻

Don't think about the 12 years. Think about the beauty, the mystery of it all. Just think of it each day and it's a short period of time each day. If God could sacrifice all He did we can spend less than 15 minutes each day. Pretty soon it will seem strange not to say it. I've been thinking why stop at 12 years I'll just keep saying it for as long as I can. Many blessings to you and how lucky are we to have this special gift of this wonderful prayer. What an extraordinary gift this is. After praying the 15 prayers of St. Bridget, this came up as the next video suggestion. I am so glad I clicked on it, since Today is Friday and the sorrowful mysteries. I sobbed through this thinking about what our Lord endured for us out of pure love!! I don’t know if you have a video on this, but if you don’t, could you consider doing one on the 15 secret tortures of Christ? A nun, and I believe her name was Sister Magdalene (I could be wrong about that), prayed to Jesus to tell her something about His torture and death that wasn’t known. Jesus came to her and told her of the 15 secret tortures. There’s a beautiful prayer attached to each torture with wonderful promises, just like the promises of praying the prayers of St. Bridget of Sweden. It is absolutely soul changing saying these prayers. Making a KZbin video of them would make more people pray it, than if they had to do it on their own.
