👍💖😇Sometimes I go to bed feeling guilty and sad when I didn't. get to pray the 15 prayers; because I was tired or didn't get to make it a priority on certain days. I am grateful for this being fast for I'd rather pray it this way ; then not at all. Thank you so much! Surprisingly, I can still meditate and keep up! FYI.... for those who can't keep up; you can easily slow down the speed ; just press the tools⚙ and choose your speed😉

I pray for the return of my 5 children to the faith that their ancestors suffered and died from then brought the holy books and rosary to the free states free to have any religion . Now to be thrown away by ungrateful sons and daughter . My heart is broken.

Memorized these 20 years ago the speed is fine . For those starting these prayers I would recommend the Pieta prayerbook read the prayers daily and you will learn them by heart. Then praying them you will grow in understanding them even if said quicker. Pax Domini Sit Semper Vobiscum!

It is NOT about performance. It is about devotion and intent that we pray these prayers. Who asks about whether the prayers are prayers quickly or slowly? It is not our Lord Jesus. What is within one's heart who prays these prayers for an entire year for our Lord's 5, 480 wounds to His Divine Body that matters. Our Jesus is with those of us who pray with full intent. Try not to be so righteous to judge what is within another's heart. Thank you for this offering of St. Bridget's 15 Prayers. God bless you.

I like these prayers. has anyone seen miracles. any wonderful fruits?

Yes, I was told by a priest that was an exorcist (he has passed away) ...he knew that I was saying these prayers for someone (he told me to never stop saying these prayers for that person). How did he know? This was over 25 years ago. This priest had the gift of reading souls (like Padre Pio). I believe these prayers are like an exorcism for those who need conversion. That is my own opinion.

Yes. Miracles in my family from these prayers. It would take too long to write it out.

Love these prayers but the beginning of each sentence is loud and than fades away. Needs to be consistent.

Quickness is not recommended in praying. Very bad recording quality. Ups and diwns in voice. It is worthly recommended you remake it for good. Thanks anyway.

Why do you say these beautiful prayers so quickly They are worthy of respect and to be heard slowly so as to penetrate ones spirit with understanding,
@PrayEveryDay7 жыл бұрын
I personally don't engage well with slow speech. As opposed to helping "me" concentrate, it tends to cause me to lose focus. I thought there may be others who feel the same way and that there are probably slower versions, maybe even with intermissions and background music, available on YT for others.

and fyi, there is an option above in the menu by "CC" under the video if you would like to slow playback speed.

I think fast and therefore pray fast. I lose concentration when things are recited too slowly. I made these for people who are the same way

Irene Hoffman I thought the same when I first started two years ago. However now I keep up and can fully devote my thoughts to our Lord while saying them. Just a matter of perseverance.

Slower pace is preferable. You are not contesting for who is quicker.

Such speed praying is rather useless is it not? It seems like the reader is just anxious to get the whole thing over quickly as possible!

Do not worship the dead. God did not give the dead powers. Isaiah 42:8 8 I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols. Pray to God. Only God hears prayers. Jeremiah 29:12 12 You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Read the Old Testament. It is the only DIVINE Scripture.
@joanboulio44607 жыл бұрын
Lalaine Garcia These prayers are worshiping Jesus. We are alive in heaven, purgatory or Hell. The communion of saints mean we can all pray for each other. Except in. hell. In hell you are dammed. You would wish that you would be dead like you were never born. Sorry. That is not the way it is. You stay in Purgatory until you are pureified and ready for heaven but you can pray for us and we can pray for them.. Saints in heaven can pray for us. All power comes from God but we ask saints and holy souls to pray with us to God for a favor or need.

this argument is a misguided and biased misrepresentation or straw man argument used by protestants for the past 500 years, since the premise is false.

"Jesus alluded to God’s burning-bush appearance to Moses and used God’s name to teach a lesson on the resurrection to the Sadducees: “About the resurrection of the dead-have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living” (Matthew 22:31-32). As Jesus points out, the verb am is in the present tense; God did not say, “I was the God of your fathers.” He said, “I am their God,” showing that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were still alive (in heaven) in Moses’ day." www.gotquestions.org/God-of-Abraham-Isaac-Jacob.html

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob were not in heaven yet but in Schoel, a paradise of waiting under the earth but above and separate from hell. They waited there for Christ w/Adam and Eve and Able and all holy souls including St. Joseph for about the last six years before Christ descended after dying and got them all out when He opened heaven upon His resurrection on Easter. The Bible teaches that many of the graves were opened and they walked among the people of the time for 40 days until the ascension.

Even the Angels hear the prayers of the faithful by the power of God as Allowing them, and they intercede to God for us as well. God bless you!
