Atleast compare a closer tier model. You selected an entry g loomis model to go head to head with at croix intermediate/high tier.

Both are fantastic but holding a 2023 Gloomis GLX 750s vs St Croix Legend Elite 7MF, Gloomis is much lighter in hand. More sensitive and better balanced.
