IMX Pro rods are awesome. I have two of them. I have the MBR 903C baitcasting and the SJR901S light powered spinning model. Up here in Canada they are over $500 but worth every penny

hey from one hollow body frog hater to another give the old school johnson silver minnow a try in place of the frog !!! thanks for sharing.

Make sure that Johnson Silver Minnow is an old one, made before the mid-1980’s, if you want it to work correctly. The older ones were made thicker in the middle of the spoon, giving that nice rolling action (this feature was the patent) and weedless pin was very durable with the right spring tempering to bend back and forth fish after fish without breaking.

Try Shimano expride 7'2 MH glass... That was my go to chatterbait rod.. But I just picked up an nrx plus 883 to test out this season

Gramps, any particular reason your using braid to fluoro on in spinning reel and straight fluoro on the other?
