Been telling y'all guys man. DLS will never be the same after Coach Terry Eidson left, he's the mastermind that engineered the streak teams. Everybody called him Cobra, dude was like a 3 star general tactician that used his outlet for football. I've been watching them since 2001, that dude was like the background operating system for your computer that oversaw all software programs. I've never seen DLS play like that on special teams and defense and so undisciplined. The first year he left DLS already lost to a Norcal team first time in 20 years. DLS has ALWAYS relied on their coaching and discipline, these Socal teams rely on their talent. If Socal teams and Norcal teams had equality of talent you would have pre-2012ish where DLS just whipped every Socal team whimpering with their tails tucked. They were 4-0 against Mater Dei and Rollinson said after his 4th loss "I don't know how to beat this team". He has pretty much outchessed and outwitted every great Socal football mind. Eidson + Bob Ladouceur = 151 Streak wins

Couldn't have put it better. Eidson and Lad were the perfect combo for their time. Coach A needs to adapt to the times and find a way to get more players to his school. DLS has no business playing national powers right now.

Maybe it’s just coaching. Fyffe Red Devils in Alabama been running the same wing t for years and if they don’t win state they make it there every year. A couple years ago they were bumped up in the brackets and everybody thought they’d lose to the bigger powerhouses. Won state both years then they got bumped back down to their original bracket. Scottsboro a bigger high school than fyffe also in Alabama been running the flex bone triple option the last few years and been winning like hell with it making the playoffs. Just because it’s old school out of fashion smash mouth offense don’t mean it’s a terrible play style. Just gotta have the right coach that can coach it right

Athletes are legitimately different in different areas of this country and California, for football, is not the hotbed for elite athletes it was in the late 80’s. I base this on personal experience past and ongoing. I base this also on knowledge of the system. I knew this would be a blowout before I clicked the video. I expected st. Frances to give up less points.
