I lived there then. What a flashback. My uncle is in this video. At the end when crossing the bridge on Telegraph at the Cotton Mill he's the one running. He was always training for marathons. Was really surprised to see him in it.

I lived in St George Utah with my parents originally from September 1993 and then when my mom passed away at age 76 on August 26th 2011 and then my dad passed away at age 81 on September 2nd 2013. Some of the businesses here shown in this video I do remember and some of them are still in operation there in St George like- TACO TIME, MCDONALD'S, LARSON'S FROST TOP, the BEST WESTERN TRAVEL INN. When we moved out there in September of 1993 but also prior to moving out there my parents brought me to St George on a vacation and I don't remember 7-Elevens being there but I do remember Maverick gas stations. Also whatever was where it used to be Payless and then it was rite aid and now it's Walgreens there on St George boulevard, I don't know what it was obviously in the early 1980s or so before it probably was Payless because whoever took the video of this it looked a little bit blurry and everything. But I was kind of able to make out some of the stuff. Thank you for this whoever captured this. I kind of do miss St George but now after having move d to Mesa Arizona since January 2016 I kind of really don't miss St George anymore. Too much stuff has gone out of there. There were several places that I used to like to go when I lived there up until at some point - I used to go to a rental video store that was just off of St George boulevard next door to a pawn shop and that rental video shop was known as rent a video. Also on main Street and I can't remember the address but it was as if you were going up toward bluff Street but it was on main Street there used to be a used bookstore that actually was in a two-story house and my mom and I used to patronize that used bookstore and the bookstore was known as DOC'S BOOK LOFT.

There where barely any palm trees on St. George boulevard at that time, crazy!

This video dates to somewhere around 1985 or somewhere

At least 1988, the INXS song on the radio dates it.

@@echristoff5710 True. Or could it be like 1989 or 1990?

I would have thought mid 80s because Yellow Front outdoor store was still on the Blvd. But I could be wrong. I left in 1987. Lived a few houses down from the church at the end of the video in neighboring Washington.
